WATCHMEN - Movie Discussion and Grading (SPOILERS)

My Comedian and Rorschach figures arrived the other day, and look pretty snazzy. Kind of annoying though how Rorscach won't stand up on his own with out the base, but other than that they're really cool models.

Hmm, but now looking at them on my desk I'm gonna have to go and buy the remaining four to complete the set

I thought I would only buy a choice one or two of the newest Marvel Fury Files 3.75" figs but now have 10 of them.

In OT news though Watchmen has fallen to #25 at the cineplex this past weekend.
Its current domestic total is now $106.8m with a WW total of $180.1m.

They sure are!

Getting Rorschach to stand up straight IS quite a chore. Silk Spectre Classic is near impossible to stand up even with her base. I've got 7 out of the 8 figures from Series One and Two. The only one I lack is Nite Owl Classic.

BTW, how the hell do you remove Rorschach's right hand to replace it with the one that can hold his grappler gun?

Yeah, it was in there fucking tight! Had to pull super hard to get it out; think I'll just leave the grappling gun hand in there as its a nightmare to change round.
Any chance of a pic of your set? Would be cool to see 'em all lined up

July 28th for the theatrical version and Director's Cut. The super-duper Ultimate Edition will be due some time in September, I think. Can't say for sure the exact date on it.

I wonder if the ultimate version will come with Under the Hood? I was waiting to decide which DVDs to buy based on that.

Yeah, I'd love to have figures of Hooded Justice, Captain Metropolis, Dollar Bill, Mothman and the Silhouette.

Just watching bits and pieces of an online pirate copy (yes I'm a bad boy), and in the part where Rorschach & Nite Owl are approaching Ozzy's base and the Hendrix version of All Along The Watchtower is playing, I turned the sound down and synced it up and played it with the Bear McCreary BSG version. Awesome!


Looks like the R2 DVD is out on 27 July. Can't wait
