Me and my other half came accross this, at the Empire cinema in the square...

Underneath this ad was the Kirk teaser poster.

Pre-booking for opening night at the Empire cinema on the square.

This is the ONLY advertising in the whole of London that we saw for the movie. Not even on the busses or in other cinemas, no posters or ANYTHING.

Pretty neat though, i just caught it out the corner of my eye.

I thought I read somewhere that there will be an advanced showing of Star Trek at the Empire Cimema in Leicester Square on April 20th (tomorrow)...Is that still true?

According to that ad poster, no.

The advance screening looks to be on the 7th in the morning.

Havnt heard anything about that, unless ive missed it.

If it is, im gonna go, even if i cant get tickets, ill find a way. Ther is ALWAYS a way.

The showing tomorrow (20th) is the UK Premiere. I'm on the 6.30am flight from Belfast!!!

LOL.

Thought the UK premier was mid week, mustve read it wrong in the papers.

I would go, but im working til 5:30. I live down in south eats Kent, in a small pointless town called Faversham made of charity shops and take-aways.

Still, i bet premier night is all booked upto the rafters.

Great ad, I can't believe it's that big!

I booked for the 7th at the Empire, 8.45pm.

At the moment the screen is still only about 15% full though, which is very worrying as that should be the busiest screening in London.

Odd, thought thats wouldve been full by now with all us UK Trek fans heading out to get an advanced preview.

Nah, it looks bigger in the photo than it actually is, the photo makes it appear to be 6 foot odd by 4 foot odd.

Its actually the same size as the UK quad posters, about A2 paper size, maybe A1.
