I forget if Angels & Demons had any fantastical elements or not.
That's a REAL shame!- Star Trek: This has me the most concerned. I think that the film has been updated for a new generation, but I think that the past will haunt it and keep people from the seats. I am only 23 years old and was in high school when Nemesis came out. A friend of mine (he was extremely popular/Quarterback of the Football team) went with me to see it. He was spotted going into the theatre by one of the cheerleaders and he went from being most popular to one of the least. People have attributed Star Trek with geeks and nerds - a label I've been called for years - and that is what I fear this will continue to be. Many see it as the rebirth of the franchise, I fear (because of the money sunk into it) that it'll be the death.
I'm sorry to say that I don't think so. I hope to be proven wrong but I have a feeling that the big movie of the month will end up being Wolverine.
- Wolverine: For some reason he's always been a very popular character that fans like. Personally I never liked him (and I'm the core demo), but I think that it'll do extremely well because of the Wolverine factor and the success of the previous films.
- Terminator Salvation: This has me concerned (and I'm a Terminator fan). I think that some of the aspects that are being brought forward are going to hurt their fanbase, but the action quotient will help to strengthen their sales. One of the biggest drawbacks will be if TSCC are cancelled or not. This will be a spillover because of the proximity of the announcement. Fox will announce their fall lineup three days before Salvation opens. This still has me thinking that WB will make the series and put it on CW (which is still being rumored including among the writing staff) if Fox ends it because they can't afford the bad press. They already sell it to Fox at a loss.

Supposedly, Leonard Nimoy plays 24th century Spock and travels back in time in all three of these movies.
