Just got TNG on DVD

Greetings,

While I'm mostly a poster in the Voyager and DS9 forums, TNG was the series that got me interested in Trek in the first place. I'm long overdue to introduce myself in this forum.

I recently got all seven seasons of TNG on DVD and am watching season 1 right now in no particular order. I watched the Naked Now and Skin of Evil last night (the latter for inspiration for my fanfic, Star Trek: Voyager - Dark Realm (in the fanfic section of this board)). I'm enjoying seeing what '80s Trek was with the frame of reference I have now as opposed to the one I had when I was a teenager watching it in the mid to late 90s.

I bought the TNG sets way back 99/2000 when they started coming out. Love them.

I would highly reccomend, though, you watch them in DVD order though.

I've had the show on DVD since they came out. I still haven't watched all of the episodes.

May I ask why? I'm watching favorite episodes first then turning around and watching other episodes. I'm probably gonna watch The Game tonight. It's a favorite of mine, and while I'm not a huge fan of Wesley Crusher, it was one of his better episodes methinks.

I never bothered watching them in order and I don't see any reason to do so. There's not much continuity (except the Worf episodes) and most episodes are reset-button affairs anyway.

I'm probably gonna watch The Game tonight. It's a favorite of mine, and while I'm not a huge fan of Wesley Crusher, it was one of his better episodes methinks.

Hey, I thought hey and Lefler made a cute couple in that episode, I only wish that fanfiction or Trek Lit would have explored that relationship a little more.

While I like New Frontier and that continuity, I'd always thought that Wesley and Robin were a nice match.

Also I remember when I was 14 and first watched the episode I had a huge crush on Lefler as a lad. Even when my other male Trek buddies drooled over 7 of 9 I was in the minority as a Lefler fan.

Lefler's apperance was about the only good thing about that episode.

Ahh... Lefler. Judd turns 41 next week and she's still hotter than the deepest parts of hell.

You know I just saw "Double Jeopardy" the other day for the first time. The movie was pretty meh for the most part, but Lefler + Pike = win!

Actually, I did think Greenwood pulled off a pretty good deep south accent and thought that he could have made a good Bones had they decided to go that route.

But I digress..
