Are you going as a Starfleet officer, or Klingon Warrior?

Me? Neither. I'm going as myself :)

But... I wonder... how many are planning on seeing the film in your favorite costume of the franchise...?

(And no, I don't have my ticket yet either, I figure getting it about a week early will probably be early enough)

If my Kelloggs shirt arrives in time I will be a Starfleet officer. I hope to be *Kirk, carrying a Klingon disruptor, like in the movie.

*the older, fatter version.

I'll be going as a 24th century Romulan who had his features surgically altered to pass for a 21st century human.

I'll be going as "myself".

To be honest, I'd be embarrassed to go out in a Trek costume on anything other than Halloween. Have fun those that do, it's just not me.

For the record, I'll only be going in Trekkie mode to the midnite screening. I wouldn't dress up for a regular showing.

If we cannot have a little fun with the thing then what's the freaking point.

I've been going back and forth on dressing up. I will not dress up for any regular screenings, but the Detroit Science Center is having a Launch Party, and since I'm a costumed tour guide for Star Trek: The Exhibition, I guess I'll be forced to wear my TOS costume. darn...

Someone gave me an idea in the other thread like this one: I'll be wearing black slacks and long-sleeved black T-shirt. I'll know why, but around here a guy could get beat up in a Trekkie costume.

I'll be going straight from work, and don't feel like carrying a costume on the train with me. A Picard tie will be my only concession to fandom.

I will definatly be going in an episode I tee-shirt. I know, I know!

When called out, I'll just point at it and remind people that disappointments and misfortune are just another fact of life.

I'll be cleverly disguised as an aging Star Trek fan in his normal, comfortable street clothes.
