I live in the United States.

About ten years ago, I thought about moving to Canada though. But the Canadian Government and I couldn't work out the details, so I just forgot about it.

Let me guess, you told them you don't like hockey, and they suddenly stopped contacting you?

ya left out a lot of countries there....

i'm in the us

I only included the countries that matter (well the ones that people who go on the Internet actually live in, after all, how many Serbians have you met online?).

Most of continental Europe would find your choices rather limiting. How many French or German internet users do you think there are?

While France, Germany, South Korea, and Japan do have a fairly large amount of Internet users, a lot of countries do not. I mean really, have you ever met a Serbian online? How about a Bosnian? A Croatian? A Nigerian? A Burmese person? A Mongolian? A Kosovon? etc. Those third (and second) world countries don't technology like us first world countries (the list above, plus Japan, South Korea, France, and Germany, which I did not put in the poll).

So France, Germany, South Korea and Japan are missing from your poll because....
And there are quite a few developed nations in Europe other than France and Germany. This board is owned by a Dutchman.

Oh and why is Newfoundland awarded its own entry?

While I could have listed every country in the entire world, that would have taken forever and cluttered it up, so I only listed the major ones.

Newfoundland used to be (and probably will be again) it's own country, it's one of those countries that is you know (American-British).

There are at least 2 Croatians on this board (and a bunch of people from the smaller European countries, too). I'd say it's more of a language thing than a technology thing. A lot of people stay on boards and sites in their own language. That's why you seldom see people from Asia or Russia on English speaking boards. Or native Spanish speakers for that matter.

My point exactly about the Croatians, there is only two, everyone else is an American (or almost American [British, Canadian, and other good countries]).
