Red Dwarf, this weekend

It's having Red Dwarf night's all weekend isn't it, to go along with the new episodes.

I thought every night was Red Dwarf night on Dave.
"Dave, the home of repeat after repeat."

Exactly. When the RD announcement was made, I was gonna make a joke about them showing nothing but repeats for a while after blowing their entire budget on bringing it back. Then I remembered what channel we were talking about.

Which reminds me; are Dave contractually obliged to say that "made by the BBC, chosen by Dave" line at the end of every bloody show? That's more repetetive than anything else on that channel. I want to punch the continuity announcer every time I hear it. :scream:

 I know what you mean. I don't think so, they never said it for ages, then out of no where it's on every blood show.
I think it's to distinguish between stuff like Argumental and Batteries not included and all the repeats?
What do they say on stuff like Fifth Gear? "Made by Five, Chosen by Dave"?

Maybe if anyone actually watched Fifth Gear, we'd know. ;) :p

 Oh good, so it's not just me.

My digital reception sucks majorly, I'm hoping it holds out for tonight. If not I might be waiting a few hours for the DL to arrive.

There's so little I ever want to watch on TV and it's so easy to DL British shows just a few hours after they air that I never bothered with the aerial upgrade :(

I saw it once. Then they burned down Top Gear and I never saw it again

It's almost time!

I have friends coming over for a celebration/commiseration/suicide party.

OK, that wasn't too bad. Was it Red Dwarf of old, no, was it better than any current comedy show I can think of? Yes.
