"The Game" is just plain creepy. And in a good way. The only time Wes is the unabashed hero and the rest of the crew is the bad guys. And somehow...that crazy, seemingly dumb idea worked.
I agree with those who say The First Duty. Though I think Wesley punishment should have been much more serious. Isn't he guilty of man slaughter or at least criminal negligence for participating in the act that got a cadet killed? The whole flight team got a slap on the wrist.
If you had to pick one, which is your favorite?

The one where he bursts into flame and the others rush over to defecate on his smoldering corpse.

The First Duty...although I didn't like how Wesley betrayed his friends at the end just to stay in Picard's good books![]()

People in the 24c are much more forgiving and it's even been suggested at time they're much more understanding and accepting of death. So perhaps it's not that "big a deal" and Wesley's admiting the mistake made up for it.
But are we supposed to feel proud of Wesley for what he did? He only admitted what they were doing when Picard confronted him.

That's just way too forgiving.
Of course, seeing him back in a Starfleet uniform in the wedding scene of Nemesis cheapened some of that.
I missed that one!If you had to pick one, which is your favorite?

Er. You realize his "friends" were asking Wesley to lie to superior officers concerning the death of a fellow student, right? Wesley, I'd say, didn't just do it to say in Picard's "good books" but because it was the right thing to do.
They were told not to do the maneuver in the first place. They went ahead and did it and one of the cadets died. They did all this plus lie about it and you don't think that they should have been punished? They were without honor. I think that they should have all been expelled. The First Duty...although I didn't like how Wesley betrayed his friends at the end just to stay in Picard's good books![]()

They were all in it together! He should have stuck by his friends rather than betraying them, I hated Wesley for that decision. He just went behind their backs and ratted on them, LoCarno et al weren't bad guys, they just didn't want to get expelled for one mistake.
