Who's In The House? (SPOILERS)

StCoop

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
Donna's in the house! (The Noble house, that is.)

Along with Wilf, Sylvia and that skinny bloke with the silly hair.

Photos to follow. (Or wait until tomorrow and check out The Sun or The Mirror.)

Awesome. Just awesome.

Now that they've all been photographed and the news will shortly become a tabloid "scoop," I imagine an official press release can't be too far off.

Waiit, I don't know... I mean... They wrapped up Donna's story, granted it wasn't the best one but it just proved that the Doctor always ends up alone, and it was very powerful. It's like RTD wants to wrap every last thing up in the last episodes.

I did see this coming though, Tennant and Catherine are filling in for Jonathan Ross on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross this... friday. (Impressively titled, Friday Night with Tate and Tennant).

No, you thought they wrapped it up. There's a big difference.

I've no doubt that come December once DWC airs and SFX and DWM run interviews it will turn out that CT was signed up to return even before she finished S4. (If only because she's a very busy woman who's schedule is full well in advance.)

She shouldn't come back. I'm happy she has, because I loved the relationship between her and The Doctor. I wonder if this will just be a cameo though, not AS Donna, if you know what I mean, lol.

Then she'd be just as bad off as she was before; a brain-dead virtual zombie with no ambitions beyond the next Bacardi Breezer.

A few more interesting details from the shoot:

The book the Doctor was carying today was not "The Journal of Impossible Things" but a book by a Joshua Naismith called "Fighting The Future"*; the character being played by David Harewood who was in lots of photos from last week's shooting.

Wilf tells the Doctor that Donna's fine, but she had a funny turn when she saw the book.

Wilf insists on going with the Doctor, as the TARDIS takes off Sylvia starts screaming at it and Donna comes out and accuses her mother of shouting at thin air again.

I dunno...I'd kind of like to see a Donna appearance where we see that despite having no memory of the Doctor, Donna has still gone on to achieve the potential he saw in her from the beginning, just with a "normal life." That would be in keeping with RTD's writing, I think....

You know its a good job RTD isn't writing season 5...it'd probably turn out in the s5 finale that Tennant hadn't really regenerated into Matt Smith after all...

Still, I loved Donna, so this will be less annoying than Rose returning...but still somewhat annoying. Wonder if the Doctor will take her back to the library and track down Lee?

Agreed to a point. I'm willing to bet that the Doctor is seeing all his companions (and enemies) in cameo as part of his sendoff, a la Logopolis or Androzani. I sure hope that none of them will be major parts of the plot, but only brief visits to assist in the Tenth Doctor's final tale.

Bits of dialogue reported and some more pictures

Some highlights

Next there's a scene with Wilf sitting dejected on his doorstep. The Doctor appears from the TARDIS, throws a stone at him to get his attention, and he comes over.

Wilf says "You can't park that (TARDIS) there, Donna will see it!"

The Doctor says something like "I lost him."
He asks if Wilf has seen anything unusual, something to do with his life.
Wilf replies that Donna had a bit of a funny turn when she saw the Book.

There was also a few scenes where Wilf accuses the Doctor of "being a chicken". It seems the Doctor was afraid of something or someone... Wilf was also apparently on a military radio talking to UNIT as though he was on an operation.

Bit more Dialogue and they both get in the Tardis. The doc did not want Wilf to go but Wilf says "I'm not staying here with her!" indicating towards Sylvia, He then gets in the TARDIS.

The last scene shot was of Wilf and the Doctor outside the TARDIS, in the rain. Just before leaving, the doctor says to Wilf something like "This is not the end, we will meet again." and Wilf asks him where hes going.

Wilf for season 5 companion! The youngest looking doctor(masking his 904 year old age) and a grandpa.

That's cool! Be kinda great if Wilf was the 11th Doc's cross over companion for an episode or so as well post regeneration.

I love Donna a great deal and I was saddened by the way she was left. However, I'm wary about being too happy to see her return in case I'm in for more heartache about her character.

Fabulous idea!

It would be a good idea, but the guy is 80 so I doubt very much he could handle the strain of filming a full season.
