The Enterprise looks fabulous in this trailer.

Watching it in 1080p on my pc now and I can confirm that Pike is wearing that grey jacket with the gold delta pin uniform piece which was leaked early on.

This line intrigues the hell out of me.

I also just saw the trailer before Watchmen, but the theater was full of teenagers who wouldn't shut up, so it wasn't as enjoyable as it could have been.

Obviously, another hint that this is a very different timeline...

It's a hint that Nero wants to make it a different timeline. Doesn't mean he'll succeed.

I've watched it a whole bunch of times now... becoming impressed... it's growing on me, I think...

..I'm sure it works much better on the big screen...

It appears that Spock flies his Timeship into the Narada and goes BOOM!
I think my ass is starting to hurt again....;)

I like the closeups of the Ship... especially the closeup that shows the top of the primary hull from an upside down position...(wondered why the lettering looked funny till I tilted my head)...

It appears that ILM has taken Starship Camera Tracking to a Whole New Level, there's several upside down shots in the trailer!

...one thing though, from the back the new nacelles look like boxing gloves on really skinny arms...

...another strange view of the ship through a whole bunch of debris... it's like catching sight of a mouse scurrying though some tall grass..

None of the ship closeups show the nacelle caps glowing.... interesting...

I take that back... there is one shot that shows a slight blue tint to them.

From the bottom the secondary hull looks really skinny...

She's got a Hell of a lot more light panels & Winky-Blinkies on Her than The Motion Picture version.

    And a Shit-Load of Detail...

Looks like there's a shot of Kirk Sr. dying gloriously all alone on the bridge of the Kelvin!
Very reminicant of a scene from the climax of Nem-i-Mess...

One shot shows the Enterprise flying through what appears to be Federation starship debris and a body floats by...

Sulu has got his Stick Shift back...

...also an interesting view from the balcony of Spock's Parents Home.... as things go horribly wrong...

OMG... there's a shot of the ENTERPRISE, looking from behind and above the connecting neck between the nacelles, that looks like it couldda come right out of TWOK... several missiles/torpedo's hitting the Torpedo Launcher area... also very, VERY Cool...

Kirk's Orion Bed-Buddy doesn't look very GREEN in this trailer...
But I wouldn't kick her outta the bed!

It's pretty obvious that the Kelvin has a Bridge Window in the last shot of the Trailer..., just in case anybody wasn't sure at this point.

It's also very cool the way they roll her over, so that at the end as She goes down fighting, She looks very much like the Enterprise.

The music throughout the trailer is very reminiscent and has overtones of the female voice from classic Treks opening theme... I hope it's actually from the movie and not just added to the trailer...

    [NuScotty] ... I like it ... [/NuScotty]

Wish I could put up screen shots but I can't with RealPlayer....

Hope somebody else does soon cause there are some Really Fantastic shots in this one!

Not sure if I'm gonna like it as a Trek Movie...

But it sure as Hell is gonna ROCK as a summer movie block-buster!!!

BTW: The Official Site has new music attached to it on the home page.

    I like it too...

It's uploading in Xvid now. I could do it in DivX if it doesn't work for you, just easier to do Xvid.

Depends on the codec, but Xvid usually works. I have a converter anyway (it just won't convert *.mov's for some reason).

Damn PS3 can be picky like that, but it's pretty cool being able to surf the web on my widescreen tv.

Oh and thanks heaps for that.

That was, quite possibly, the most epic Star Trek-related thing I've ever seen. Simply beautiful from start to finish. Only two more months!

The trailer is now playing at www.startrekmovie.com. The official site also now includes music running in the background, a new desktop wallpaper, and new "Dossiers" feature which is coming soon.
