Look, guys, when this opens we're going to have half a dozen polls and hundreds of posts in here about how great it is, hundreds of posts dissecting it bit by bit and arguing over whether this-or-that makes sense or can be made to fit with some other thing, and dozens of posts by a few people denouncing the movie as trash and the work of Satan.

And most all of us already have a sense which of those posts we'll eacah be making.

And on that day we will all focus inordinately and angrily on the threads devoted to the dozens of posts trashing the movie.

All of this has happened before. All of this will happen again.

And again, and again, and again, and again.

There are some lucky swines in the world who'll be watching the film in the next couple of weeks, as Paramount start screening the film to some of it's staff (Marketing, Home Video, etc). No, I won't be one of them

But, I will see it in April! That's when Paramount start showing it to select members of the public (competition winners, general movie industry types), which is a good sign. They know reviews will leak out, so they must be pretty confident they'll be favourable.
