Heads up for King of the Hill fans

I disappointed that Beavis and Butthead never had at least a cameo on KoTH...

Anderson Killed Beavis and Butthead in a "hunting accident"

and it's good to see Bobby take a step twards a normal life

and as for that last Buck Episode, I was hoping Buck would make Hank Manager of his Strickland office and move on to oversee another of his offices

:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

Re: The spoiler -- how fitting!!! :guffaw:

^ it was actually on CNN after the episode aired

and on the new intro, is LuAnne still riding off with Buckley in it?

And they still have Peggy's old car too.

solid episode, It was kind of odd for Bobby to look forward to the Friday Night Game night with his folks at his age, but it all turned out well in the end.

I think the last several eps have been evolutionary, perhaps even as far back as Cotton's death. Peggy's schemes and 'for their own good' tendencies came back to bite her hard when Luanne's father came back. Hank, when dealing with the anal scout leader, learned you can be right and still fail to change someone like that; Luanne's grown a spine and part of a brain; and Bobby is taking the first steps away from being the Bobby we've known. That leaves Dale getting his ass kicked, Bill--well, I dunno about Bill, and Boonhauer maybe getting the itch to settle down. Nothing is 'resolved', but we begin to see the movements that might one day lead to such. I think Khan needs an ep like the flashback with Ned Flanders, where it was revealed he was once a wild child with beatnik parents, and then lost it.

It was a pleasure to see Hank fall into the inanity. Unlike his female counterparts on the many 'dumb guys/dumber husband' shows, he can drink the Kool-Aid once in a blue moon. It was an even bigger pleasure to see this thing turn into a monster out of Bobby's control.

No Dale ass-bagging for weeks/months. They must be saving up for his ep. I don't count the outdoorsman thing--that was all on him and was just weird.

well, the whole theme with Bobby had been "that boy just ain't right" but he's now pretty much evolved to "that boy just ain't quite right" overall, he's the charater that has evolved the most on this show, and I wish they would change Peggy's outfit, they did a whole show on that little bit than just ignore it

I've noticed the wrapping up as well. Dale is going to end up blowing himself up at some point. and that will be his ultimate ass kicking.

We saw a little bit of that in a flashback when Minh was telling Connie about when they were dating back in Laos. He was riding a moped and douched out with a shiny shirt and styled up hair.

Many times I've compared KOTH to the Andy Griffith Show, and As much as Sheriff Taylor was the voice of reason in Mayberry. From time to time he wasn't always right. One time he and the other men in town got involved in some town gossip, or one time he was getting too concerned about how much Opie was donating to the Underprivledged Children's fund, only to find out Opie was using the rest of his money to help someone in particular. So I give Hank some wiggle room here and there.

Dale is just weird in general.

One of my fave eps of The Beverly Hillbillies involved a con artist named JD Clampett ingratiating himself with 'long-lost cousin' Jed. For this once, Jed does not merely misunderstand a situation, he is willfully ignorant about it, and by this I mean on a Jethro/Granny-level. Granny asks if JD can be trusted, and Jed says that any Clampett can always be trusted. Granny then asks if JD is really one of his relations, to which Jed responds that a Clampett would never lie about that kind of thing.

Greetings propaniacs.

Another week has come around and our friends out in the alley are back for more lawn mowing fun, and it looks like our old friend Hank is looking to make a change.

King of the Hill: Bwah My Nose: 3/8/09

After Hank breaks his nose in a football game a plastic surgeon reconstructs a brand new nose that he starts to love a little too much.

Oh Hank, what wont you suprise us with. Although my own dad had some reconstructive plastic surgery on his nose too.

Watch his nose be back to normal by next week.

That was a good episode last night. Lots of continuity, and they even brought back their old tough yelling coach with no exposition for newcomers. Also liked Hank being afraid of breaking his beautiful "new" nose.

I wonder : If you put a newborn child, that would be cared for in the most basic ways otherwise, and allowed it to crawl between two rooms, one containing Cotton Hill, and the other containing Abe Simpson, who would screw the kid up more?

Another good ep, laying another piece of the series to rest as it goes. Even though Peggy's big mouth about Hank's health problems served the good in this case, I'd like to see one of the finals be about that habit biting back at her hard.

I was about to launch into an "Abe wasn't that bad!" diatribe, but as I thought about it, the Abe of the past was actually pretty similar to Cotton. They both constantly belittled and neglected their son in his formative years. They even had the WWII background. The only difference is Cotton never stopped being an ass while Abe softened and went senile.

I only caught the second half of this, but it was allright overall, the one year later thing sucked though

Hey fellow propaniacs.

Ok, I have to say, for an animated show the whole setting the bone scene on the football field really made me cringe. But good for them winning the game.

Looks like Peggy is trying to get in with the in crowd again this week. Oh Peggy, what wont you do for acceptance?

King of the Hill: Uncool Customer 3/15/09

After Peggy finds out that she is not cool she befriends one of Arlen's most glamourous and cool moms in an effort to learn how to be cool.

Guest voice for this week is Kate Walsh. I have no idea who that is.

Ok, I did some checking and she is someone from Greys Anatomy.

the episode guide from Dish says that the woman peggy tried to befriend (Kate Walsh) is the most popular mom at bobbys cotillian class...Bobby in cotillian...Failcopter set to launch in 3...2...1

how will Bobby handle it? in the past seasons he would have given his left nut for any kind of dance/performance thing, but the past few seasons he seems to have gotten less enthused about it

Damnit, I told my men to kill Octavio weeks ago, do I have to do EVERYTHING myself?

Boy, I felt for Hank in this one. Find a decent place to eat, and the lowlifes will flock in. In this one, I wanted Hank to actually punch Bill and smoosh the damn sandwich in Octavio's face. This isn't even our usual uptight Hank. This was like lowlife central, and you know calling even a single one on their behavior would been the usual unified glare routine.

So Peggy and Bobby meet a woman more pulled away by trends than they themselves. Neat. The finale-leaning evolution continues.
