El Sombrero was part of it, but I've been messing with the "comic-book cover Photoshoppy" thing for a short while anyway. I found this while Googling, which inspired me to do this and this which I posted in TNZ. A short hop and skip to this thread and it's resident meme was a mere formality.
But my way of messin' in Photoshop ain't the same as El Sombrero. I'm no artist like you are, so many kudos to you, sir!
