Jeeees, I was expecting the end of the universe, with a quaint little restaurant near by, but its not that bad.


I still prefer the original type face though, that was just really retro and nostalgic to use that in the trailers, wouldve been cool to use it officially.

It looks like it should be spelling out the title of a story that takes place in the industrial 1890s or some time like that. It's very heavy looking. Serious. Stark. Sharp. Cold. For what it's worth, I never thought this typeface looked very good unslanted.

Metallic seems to be in this year.

One assumes an explosion from behind will then shatter the title and send the letters flying every which way in the general direction of the camera, with the camera passing directly through the space in the "R" revealing a starfield beyond?

Anyway, how about if it had a little TOS yellow ?

I'd say "there's more talking about bashing than actual bashing" (guess I just did anyway) but it feels like beating a dead horse at this point and I feel like a broken record. But I'm not the only one who's a broken record...
