This movie will totally suck. After all, I didn't see any robots change into cassette tapes, cameras or microscopes!!!
Would it help to know that there are robots that will turn into...Sexy girls? That's right. At least one pretender Decepticon has been revealed played by Isabel Lucas.

The deal with Isabel Lucas is real real. And last month's leaked video clip shows her in pursuit of Shia and Fox, though I can't find it right now.

Rumors are her character is attending university with Sam. I reckon she creates a jealously triangle between Sam and Sugarboobies (what's Megan Fox's character's name?) and then at whatever moment, she freaks on her Decepticon mode and throws down.

I liked the spot. Not sure who the big one wheeled 'con is but if its Devastator as some have guessed I'll be dissapointed. Its one thing to do some reimagining, its another to just slap the name on something that doesn't even remotely resemble the character.
I pray this Pretender stuff is all rumor. Not that I have an issue with the Pretender concept but that robots covered with skin on screen in the cinema is kind of Terminator territory. Maybe its payback for the big Skynet killer bots encroaching on TF territory.
I can see the love triangle element being true just not the Pretender aspect of it.

If you actually care whether or not a robot in a movie, based on an extended toy commercial, resembles the latter's representation ... well, this movie isn't for you, I guess. Jesus, at this point I'm ready for people to say that Hugh Jackman is far older than he should have been at the time of the Weapon X shit in Wolverine.

First, it's a trailer, who knows if the animation department is anywhere near finished with all the transformations.
Second, you know why it has that kind humor? Cause it's kids movies. Sorry, geeks in their 20s, 30s, 40s aren't it's target, Transformers is for kids. Enjoy it for that.
There are plenty of valid reasons to critique Bay's directing, nitpicking how the transformations look in a 30 second trailer for an unfinished movie isn't one of them.

Just for you, I'll see it and then bitch about it all summer and for the rest of time over how much it sucks, how much Bay sucks, and how much he fucked up the simple concept of robots fighting each other so monumentaly.
That is if the movie *does* suck, I guess it's possible it won't.
Regardless, I am entitled to my opinion as well as expressing my opinion and my opinion is that the movie was noisy mindless crap stuffed with stupid humor and, oh yeah, the Transformers were in it for a little bit and it baffles how much people salivate over themselves over that movie.
I went into it with an open mind, expecting some cool and geat. I mean it's giant fucking robots that turn into cars! How hard can it be to pull that off? Then what I watched was two hours of Shia LeBouf's special brand of "humor" and ramblings, his drooling over Megan Fox and the usual staples of Bay-ian nonsense.

Or a side plot with charactes that means nothing, effects nothing, and GOES NOWHERE. Nor did I know kids movies had to be dumb.
"It's a kids movie" isn't an excuse. Plenty of "kids movies" manage to entertain people of all ages without being so banal and inspid.
