Nutbar on the Treadmill

Gee, she's got a lot of energy! She would have been a perfect 'pepper' in the Dr Pepper ads that used to run about 30 years ago. But alas she was born in the wrong time.

There's this vagrant that walks around my town. He's clearly not 100% right in the head, and he is always, ALWAYS walking like this. It's like he physically can't help but dance no matter what he's doing, and I don't think he has control over it.

That's what she reminds me of.

You know it's a serious problem when he flattens his cardboard box "home" so he can breakdance.

I had to go back to my locker and get the camera for this one. My buddy told me that he's seen this woman set 4 or 5 treadmills at 1.0KPH and hop and jog between all of them. Just crazy.

I'm glad she's having fun and all but how are the people next to her not laughing?? I would actually have to leave because I would explode if I couldn't laugh out loud at that!! :guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

I always get kinda paranoid on the treadmill. I'll jump on one and start doing my thing then end up with 2 hot chicks on either side of me so I just look straight ahead or at my feet so I don't seem creepy looking around.

Naw guys she's nuts. A budy at the gym toldme that if she can, she will turn on 4 or 5 treadmills at 1.0KPH (very slow, so slow as to be useless) and hop from one to another...she will also clap and holler loudly...she was actually a tad tame in this video.

I don't think she's nuts at all- looks like her approach really breaks up the tedium of running on a treadmill. I may have to try that (well, maybe not to Barbie Girl).

Not so sure if I'd do it in public, though. Hard to say- don't have a gym in my area.

At my gym, there was a guy who got on a treadmill, decided he didn't like it after a minute or so, got of and got on another treadmill, did the exact same thing and got on yet another treadmill. Then he left. It was like three total minutes over three treadmills.

What I don't get is the people next to her. They're just walking ?

Why pay for a gym just to walk ? Why not just go outside and walk ? Maybe I'm missing something.

I've seen her eyes...there's a strange hollowness behind them. Trust me, she's not right in the head.

It's what most people do on treadmills. I almost never see people running. Point of fact: walking is better for burning calories that running anyway.

And also keep in mind it's not the ONLY thing they do in the gym. They probably use the weight room or the machines when they're done on the treadmill.

Well, for me, it's because it's the middle of winter, so it's just too damn cold or slippery to walk or run outside.

Plus, you can walk or run yourself exhausted and not worry about having to walk home or anything :D

What's good enough for this man is good enough for you. :p

1 km/h may be useless on a treadmill if you use it in a normal way, but the way she uses it it's probably an excellent workout. ;)

If I were the owner of that gym, I'd be worried about wearing out the treadmill though; jumping up and down can't be good for the treadmill's product life.
