Bratz Dolls May Give Young Girls Unrealistic Expectations Of Head Size

Re: Bratz Dolls May Give Young Girls Unrealistic Expectations Of Head

I can sympathize. I used to play with Major Matt Mason action figures when I was a kid and am now suffering debilitating depression because I didn't grow up to be an astronaut. :(

Sgt Storm was cooler, the Major was a REMF! LOL I feel your pain however, and I occasionally look in my back yard expecting my own personal XRG-1 glider to appear back there. :)

Really? She talked about Major Matt Mason? :D

In the very first episode, her first scene actually:
Fantastic. :bolian:

My MMM had the flying back pack and scooter :D
I used to pour over those little catalogs, wishing I could have EVERYTHING. :D

Mine too - I even had the Space Station. I didn't have the Crawler, though... :(
I had the space station, the crawler and the glider.

Substitute Steve Austin for Matt Mason, and I know what you mean. :(
Oh, yeah, I loved that show. :bolian:

I had all the characters, actually, even that alien one that came along late in the game.

I had the space station and my brother had the crawler. It was my parent's way of inspiring some entertaining sibling rivalry.

With me, it was Micronauts. I was zealous in my collection of all things Micronautian when I was a kid. I had this HUGE spaceship that was roughly the size of a Sherman tank, plus all the action figures.

Re: Bratz Dolls May Give Young Girls Unrealistic Expectations Of Head

Girls should not be taught to expect that much head. It's just unrealistic.

That is a funny video...the Bratz heads are odd enough, but I also found out that they don't change shoes, they change feet (they actually sell on ebay, feet with flip flops, feet in heels, feet with boots). Very odd.

Okay, with my big brother it was GI Joe after Major Matt Mason, and when the ones came out (mid 70's?) with the realistic hair and beard I was constantly stealing it from him so I, uh, I mean, Barbie could 'rub the fuzz.' I didn't care if I grew up to look like Barbie, so long as I could have GI Joe there with his jeep, cool fatigues, toned body and fuzzy short hair to keep me company. :p

I loved Micronauts as well. Especially the Time Travelers in all those translucent colors. One of my brothers got one of the city playsets which was sort of like a plastic erector set. Good times.

It was my uncle that bought me the expensive space station-- I think there was some sibling rivalry going on at the adult level. :rommie:
