I just got my kid sister a 26" tv at Wal-Mart
She is the last member of the family to have a tube tv Hell, even my little niece has a 19" flat screen right next to her bed

So you got the real deal. Way cool.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to wear mine yet because it's been very cold and dark. Leave it to me to buy sunglasses during the darkest time of the year.
Anyway, my latest purchase is my mom's Christmas gift - a couple of serving platters that she wanted.

Just bought a new tank for my Hamster "Pika"(Yes after Pikachu) and got a new Betta fish.
Going away for Xmas somewhere cold, and needed proper winter boots suitable for wet weather and snow. I liked them because they kind of look like motorcycle boots. I have these in brown:

Absolutely, plus it's what she asked for. (She asked for it after I had it on order so extra bonus points for me) Most holidays include some new kitchen toy her.
My wife loves to cook and she's great at it. Our house was the proverbial ugliest house in the nicest neighborhood. It's going to be awhile before we can do the big kitchen remodel, but the old cook top is a POS. We'll be able to take this forward we do have the money to make the rest look nice.
That's different then. Lovely gift.
Successful shopping day! I've been Christmas shopping for ages, but I needed some things for me too. Today I shopped for myself, and it was great. Ann Taylor was having a buy one get one free sale, and I had a discount card -- I got a pair of grey corduroy trousers, a super cute Kelly green sweater (such a good color for me that all the ladies in the fitting room were commenting on it and encouraging me to buy it!), and a pair of sunglasses for $34.00! It was $125 worth, for $34! YAY!
I bought practical items that I really needed, that were really cute, and got a great deal!
It makes up for the $125 pair of jeans I bought yesterday.
