So, "true" absinthe is still illegal to sell in the States, but the mildly diluted form is relatively widely available.
I heard from someone that the legal status of absinthe has been overturned in the US. Can anyone confirm this?
I only trust half of what I see and none of what I hear or read especially that of what I read on the interweb.

I had this one night, the Okanagan Absinthe, and had some pretty severe memory blackouts and woke up top of my bed with all my clothes on and no idea how I got there.I buy my absinthe online from a British company called Absinthe Classics.
At present, due to "problematic customs clearances," they do not import absinthe into Canada. The only brand they sell to Canadians, Taboo, is made in Canada by Okanagan Distillers of BC. (This is the stuff I drink.)

I'm not sure that's correct.

But according to their website, Absinthe Classics ships to all fifty US states. In fact, they say that 95 per cent of their business is with American customers.
