Show me your body art!

They are OUR bodies to do with as we please.
liberal propaganda!
:rommie:
Such a same to ruin your beautiful body in such a way TSQ. :(
It's her body to "ruin", who the hell are you to judge what she does with it?

Absolutely it's her body to do with what she pleases.
No doubt.
Just not much into body art is all, and I don't "judge" her either for doing it.
Personally, I am not a fan of girls with big tats on them... I think most of them are tacky.
That said, there are a few that are worth while
But I will never understand why someone would get a lovers name tat'd on them!

Ineed. I've grown warmer to the so-called "tramp stamp" and things like a little butterfly or star on ankle, arm, or shoulder blade, the anklet-tattoo, tats around the belly button, a cute little symbol in the groin region all can be pretty nice. But large ones in obvious spots? Tougher for me to "like", but I've odd tastes.

So called 'tramp stamp'.
You just had to repeat that phrase didn't you.
Well I'm old enough to be your mother and I'm offended to be called a tramp because I have chosen to have body art.
They are called tattoos. Not tats, Not tramp stamps. Tattoos.

Behave yourself! Don't get one!

Can I repeat it :D
And in all honesty, I'm waiting for the tat artist that instead of putting the Chinese lettering for "Peace" or "Love" puts "Orange Chicken" :D

You don't have a tramp stamp hun. Tramp stamps are the tats that are right above the derrier.
They are called tattoos. Not tats, Not tramp stamps. Tattoos.
I abbreviate!

A "tramp stamp" is a decorative tattoo over the lowerback, it's also sometimes called a "Tijuana license plate." I did not invent the term.

And, as I said in my post, I *like* the "tramp stamp."

A "tramp stamp" doesn't refer to any ink, just ink in the small of a woman' back. Urban legend says that those women with such tattoos are sluttier than other women.

This is getting more obnoxious by the minute.

The Madonna/whore complex rearing its ugly head...

and I've heard that these girls are more open to using the "back door" if you would...

In my experience, thats only 90% true :p

A lot of women I know seem to get that done as a test for future work, though regret it as in these parts it's unfairly seen 'common' due to the types who go for it. But like anything the right thing on the right place of the right person looks quite nice.

The ex Mrs Tyler has one, so I was banned from using the term 'tramp stamp'.

^ Not that, the comment about the Madonna/Whore complex!

Whenever this topic comes up there's always a couple of posters who denigrate woman and use derogatory language about them whilst simultaneously slavering at the mouth at the prospect of what they are imagining.

It's fucking pathetic. ;)

The only tattoo's I have a problem with are cheap, poorly designed, ill thought out ones. I was going over my tattoo design with my artist, when one of her appointments walked in -- two girls who wanted a lightning tattoo on the back of their necks, for the Harry Potter movie. The one girl was still unsure about getting it as she was in the studio. Those are the tattoos you regret. As the girls went to fill out some paperwork, my artist told me she was really happy to see how involved I was.

I wonder what the people that are not interested and/or find tattoos and body art not beautiful or even degrading are doing in this thread.

I thought I read well when I read the title "Show me your body art!".

I guess I confused it with "Come in and insult me, my tastes and my intelligence!".

I wasn't aware that by having tattoos I was sluttier than other women (does that mean that all women -are- in fact sluts, and some more than others? Charming concept.), I had no idea that by having a tattoo on my back I liked using my "back door". I'll make sure to keep in mind the opinion that some of you have of me next time we have any kind of interaction.

I find tattoos beautiful, I'm not much into piercings personally because it's not a kind of pain I particularly enjoy, but I do appreciate piercings on people that have the guts. ;)

I have three tattoos as of today, all three have meaning to me. I plan on having more work done over the years.

Gee, what a slut I must be.

Misogyny is still a popular pastime among some demographics.

Now how about if we get this Thread back on topic?

I liked my old piercing but it was pulled off while wrestling :( I want another but being cautious with the pulling and ripping a lip ring would be best... but my face is fat too fat...

My tattoo progress has been in the works for about six years with me only finalising a design a few months ago. I've wanted to show off my sisters tatt wok since I first saw the thread but it's proving to be a nightmare to find a copy of it

I'm sure there are plenty that are not interested in that... I am just saying that it's one of the stereotype associated with it
And of course you just felt compelled to come in this thread of celebration of body art and share with us what "they" think and what "they" say.

Here's a picture of my ear piercing:

Here's a picture of my very first tattoo, I got it 12 years ago and I'm happy to say it still looks as good as the day I got it.

Sorry for the crappy quality! :borg:
