What's your favorite Westley episode?

Danoz

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
I'm voting for "The Dauphin"

Though, the one where he's on trial for the shuttle accident is great, too (forgive my lapse in memory I forget the name of this episode).

All in all, probably my least favorite character, but let's give Mr. Crusher a little love.

If you had to pick one, which is your favorite?

"The First Duty" he actually stands up to Pickard (for two Seconds) gets busted and has to repeat his Sophmore year at the Academy. He gets involved in a flight manuver that is so dangerous that is had been banned by the academy, one cadet is killed and at first Westley tries to cover it up. But in the end he comes clean he and his squadren are given repremands ranging from having to repeat the years studies to being expelled. Robert Duncan McNeill who played Tom Paris on Voyager was the one who got expelled...

Resistance is Futile

the final duty- no question. he wasnt annoying, and his character actually grew. ive never had a HUGE problem with wesley. yeah he was annoying in the first season, but hey if i was a super genius id prob be annoying too!:borg:

Ditto. This is the episode that actually gave the character integrity.

Couple of favourite Wes episodes. I really like Final Mission. It's got loads of good stuff in it - Wes saving the day but really having to dig deep to do it; the great location; Nick Tate; some nice Picard-Wes moments. I also enjoy The Game. It was nice to see Wes come back as a grown up (or at least well on his way).

I liked how it made him something other than the perfect child--instead it made him face the hubris that kind of intellect may had led to in him.

He didnt have a lot of good episodes for me but I guess I'd have to say the one where he first meets the traveller 'where no-one has gone before'

"Coming of Age", from late in season one: The first significant attempt to repair the damage made by all the episodes of swaggering boy genius idiocy, it humanizes Wesley by showing that the Federation is brimming with Young Prodigies who are eager to get to Starfleet and who have more on the ball than he does, it effectively mines the trauma of his father's death, and it provides a final scene with Picard that is genuinely warm and funny.

that was Journey's End, and I agree that was one of the better Wesley episodes. once wesley became more human, ie got on our level, he was a better character, with flaws and whatnot. i like the way his character went eventually

Haha I'm sorry, but I've never thought to pair the words favourite and wesley crusher in the same sentence.

"The First Duty" for sure. But "Justice" gets points for being so laughably bad it's actually fun to watch.

Thinking about this thread, although Wesley is in about 5 minutes of the episode, the one with the unsucessful warp bubble was a good episode. I suppose it counts as he caused it :)
