3 straight plays, 3 straight gifts to the Chiefs. Play 1: That was a Denver interception, dammit. Play 2: Johnson did not stretch that ball into within 6 inches of the first down, dammit. Play 3: Thigpen didn't make any forward progress, dammit.

EDIT- That was a beautiful catch by Hillis! I just hope it doesn't cost him too much. :(

And so Green Bay is defeated....AGAIN. You know, I went into this season genuinely believing they could make the playoffs once more. Silly, silly me for being optimistic.

I already made one to my friend, but I decided against it here. One thing that bugs me is how the Eagles still managed to become extremely sloppy at the end (I guess all games have to be a nail biter).

Ravens and Redskins are coming up soon. I stopped rooting for Baltimore after they beat the Eagles, but I do hope that they can beat Washington (keep the NFC playoff picture more interesting and all that).

Yay! Decent Denver strikes again! The Defense played well enough, the offense moved, and they won! The special teams didn't look very good, but they improved as the game wore on. Marshall has only found the end zone once or twice since they last saw KC, and today he sneaks in twice!

I hope Hillis recovers well for 3 reasons. 1) Denver really can't afford to lose anyone else (though it is worth pointing out that the more starter they lose, the better their defense looks  ). 2) Considering the position he was in at the beginning of the season (not on the depth chart), it's awesome that he's in the position he is now and doing as well as he is. 3) Bell isn't looking great. He blasted off his one good run, but over all, I was unimpressed. I hope when next season comes around, the primary two back are Hillis and Pittman (2 players that I commented would never see the light of day at the beginning of the season  ). They are two really tough guys and can really rumble for the tough yardage.

Seattle of all teams really have the Patriots a game!

And Pittsburgh.... 17 unanswered points .... in the 4th quarter?!?!

Wisconsin radio will likely latch onto the hugely retarded idea that if Brett Favre were still quarterbacking the Packers, the team would have 10 wins, but that's giving a gigantic hall pass to the secondary and coordinator Bob Sanders, the latter of whom has proven to be completely and utterly worthless at playcalling.

Green Bay's record this year is by NO means Aaron Rodgers' fault. The sieve they have for a defense has been far more culpable. Plus it's not as if the OL has been blameless, either.

Go...49ers?! They've looked respectable even when losing under Mike Singletary. Who knew dropping trou would be a motivator for them to start playing like an NFL team. I am surprised they beat the Jets though...without checking, does anyone know if the west coast teams losing on the east coast thing goes the other way too?

Unlike that other team across the Bay that would give Detroit a run for its money in the crapitude department.

So... How bout them Giants?

Dem Jints were teh suk & flat today. I had a bad feeling about the game even before it began. Too much weirdness in the Giants camp this week. No excuses, though. They might well have lost even without the Burress distraction. *shrugs* Hixon's done a good job replacing The Moron so it was disappointing to see him have an off day too - like dropping that dead on pass.

On a brighter note, Thank You Steelers for taking out the Cowboys! :D

So ... where's that Seahawks' fan who last year scoffed and mocked me when I guaranteed a division title for the Cardinals this season?

Welcome to the Desert Dominion, Gulls Girls. It'll last a long, long time.

Oh, and ... enjoy bottom dwelling. You'll be there a while. :techman:

Oh, I know. Not that you insinuated anything, but I'm far from being one of those nutters that thinks Favre walks on water while Rodgers is Satan incarnate. Even in games we lost, I still thought Rogers played well for a rookie. I'm just wondering where the defense and coordination we had last season go. For example, to lose to the the Falcons of all people this season is just plain embarassing. :(

Oh...my...GOD!

You know what the difference is between the Rams' Offense and a 400 lb. woman with head lice and a colostomy bag?

The 400 lb. woman with head lice and a colostomy bag still manages to SCORE ONCE IN A FUCKING WHILE!!!

I mean seriously, what the fucking fuck???

Another sloppy, listless, heads up their asses, who cares? performance by a bunch of slack-jawed dipshits who should be ashamed to cash their paychecks. At least TRY, YOU ASSHOLES! ACT LIKE YOU CARE that you're getting run up and down the field like a chess nerd on the flagpole at lunch.

I swear to All That Is Holy, Carrie had a better time at the fucking prom than I'm having this season watching you shit yourselves in public every goddamned week....

:scream:

:brickwall:

That was the Niners best win of the season. It just seemed like a cohesive team effort out there today and I believe Singletary should be the head coach of this football team in the years to come. Hill looked great, the offense controlled the complection of the game, and the Defense got to Farve and made him and the Jets offense look really bad. Who knew this would happen for the Niners. Granted, last year felt the same way (Niners start winning, things start to look up and then the new season starts) but this year feels different because of Singletary's attitude, and I do say to keep continuity, the Niners shouldn't do anything next year unless Turner is fired from San Diego.

We're 0-13!!! YES! We suck! You can't even argue our future looks bright, and the best bit? We can go 0-16. Everyone around Detroit is still chanting "Yes, we can." A look at our remaining schedule:

Indianapolis Colts (9-4) -- Luckily, this one is at the RCA Dome, meaning we finally can watch the Lions on the teevee! Yay!

New Orleans Saints (7-6) -- Honestly, Drew Brees could sit in the corner, jack off, and never line up behind center and he'd still break the passing yard record in this game. They'd also manage to score 28 points by having Reggie Bush do the electric shuffle.

Green Bay Packers (5-8) -- It's at Lambeau field, the last time the Lions won at Lambeau in December? Who the fuck knows? Not even ESPN cares because it's the Lions. Though, I can't wait to see the graphic they have for 0-16!

Yes, we can!
