So as I was putzing aroound on Amazon I noticed they now have a description up for Full Circle (yeah!)

So is this the acurate back cover blurb? It sounds intriguing to me, the Klingon tie in sounds great...and whats this "...aid from thier former captain, Admiral janeway"?? That phrase may just kill me between now and March. Oops, that obviously takes place earlier in the time line Oh well still, Its good to Janeway will have a role in the book.

if it's legit though, I think there goes all the speculation about how Full Circle was going to be dealing with the, uhm, Before Dishonor's baggage. From this blurb, it seems the book is set way earlier in the timeline. Cool, I guess.

Yeah, it's been said that this book will begin well before Before Dishonor, indeed immediately after Spirit Walk, and then end some time after the events of Destiny. So this'll be an epic that spans (a couple?) of years.

Yeah, it's been said that this book will begin well before Before Dishonor, indeed immediately after Spirit Walk, and then end some time after the events of Destiny. So this'll be an epic that spans (a couple?) of years.

It may start in 2381, after the events of Destiny, but have flashbacks like they do in the Destiny.

So, Janeway is featured, obviously, during the sections set while she was still alive, but the crew's subsequent response to her death is also dealt with.

As the fate of the Changeling, like the issues surrounding Miral (or Mirl, I guess ), was one of the bigger dangling threads left in Spirit Walk, it's safe to assume that the issue will be addressed. But no, I'm not telling you how.

Thanks, Kirsten for posting. We all can't wait for Full Circle to release. This sounds more like the direction the Voyager relaunch should have went with from the beginning.

As far as I was concerned, the VOY relaunch was headed down the same path as the subpar series it was based on.

But the change in authors makes me curious to see if VOY can finally get on the right track, and I may be tempted to give this book a try.

Enjoy Masks Xeris. It's a great stand alone novel. One of my favorites.

As far as I was concerned, the VOY relaunch was headed down the same path as the subpar series it was based on.

I have not read CG's post-finale books, either, but I did get to read Full Circle as a part of the post-Destiny clean-up crew. And you needn't worry -- Kirsten does all the recapping you'll need, and writes a fine tale, to boot.

In defense of Golden, her first two books are not that bad, i just didn't love the second two, mainly because I do not love Chakotay(Ok that is being kind). I am sure that reading those four books would really help in getting the most out of Full Circle. I am really excited that Tom Paris is then new first officer. He is actually my favorite VOY character.
