You are a fucking idiot you know that.

News to me, my genius level IQ and 3.86 GPA at the time of my college graduation.

Racism deals with the color of ones skin.
No it doesn't. Racism is about genetic heritage, not physical appearance. The term "Mongoloid" is a (largely outdated) genetic term. It's an archaic classification for what we call "Asians" nowadays, back when people thought we could classify such ridiculous notions as "racial superiority". See also terms like "Negroid".

Look, last week I tried educating you a little bit. I obviously achieved nothing. I hope, in time, you will learn something from someone about something.

And I'm done with this thread. If you want to continue this childishness, feel free to PM me.

I Dont Need No education from someone who has no idea of what the term racism refers to. Just to educate you here is the definition...

racism |ˈrāˌsizəm|
noun
the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, esp. so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.
• prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on such a belief : a program to combat racism.
DERIVATIVES
racist |ˈreɪs1st| noun & adjective

Oh and the sentence where I said,"I dont need no education from..." Just incase your genius level brain couldnt tell...Thats sarcasm. Definition...
sarcasm |ˈsärˌkazəm|
noun
the use of irony to mock or convey contempt : his voice, hardened by sarcasm, could not hide his resentment. See note at wit .
ORIGIN mid 16th cent.: from French sarcasme, or via late Latin from late Greek sarkasmos, from Greek sarkazein ‘tear flesh,’ in late Greek ‘gnash the teeth, speak bitterly’ (from sarx, sark- ‘flesh’ ).

Its really hard to argue a point with an idiot. definition...
idiot |ˈidēət|
noun informal
a stupid person.
• archaic Medicine a mentally handicapped person.

And I beleive you are getting the term Mongolian and Mongoloid mixed up. Espicially in the context I was using it...
Mongolian |mänˈgōlēən; mä ng-|
adjective
of or relating to Mongolia, its people, or their language.
noun
1 a native or national of Mongolia.
2 the Altaic language of Mongolia, written in an unusual vertical cursive script; related forms are spoken in northern China.

Mongoloid |ˈmä ng gəˌloid|
noun
1 sometimes offensive a person of a Mongoloid physical type.
2 offensive a person with Down syndrome.
USAGE 1 The terms Mongoloid, Negroid, Caucasoid, and Australoid were introduced by 19th-century anthropologists attempting to classify human racial types, but today they are recognized as having very limited validity as scientific categories. Although occasionally used when making broad generalizations about the world's populations, in most modern contexts they are potentially offensive, esp. when used of individuals. Instead, the names of specific peoples or nationalities should be used wherever possible. 2 The term mongol, or Mongoloid, was adopted in the late 19th century to refer to a person with Down syndrome, owing to the similarity of some of the physical symptoms of the disorder with the normal facial characteristics of eastern Asian people. The syndrome itself was thus called mongolism. In modern English, this use of mongol (and related forms) is unacceptable and is considered offensive. In scientific, as well as in most general contexts, mongolism has been replaced by the term Down syndrome (first recorded in the early 1960s).

But then you already knew all this right...Genius:guffaw:

^ Let's stop it both of you. The mods have already warned over this so let's just leave it alone please.

Doomsday, though shrouded in shadow most of the time, looked pretty nice. Do you think we'll get a "full on" shot of Doomsday in future eps?

Could Brainiac have 'reactivated' Lana via his previous infection of her?

Could Brainiac and Lex have 'merged' somehow?

I wonder if Brainiac is maneuvering Chloe, Lana, Doomsday, AND Lex into play against Clark?

We don't normally do this, but since you felt like continuing after the warning from Neroon:

warn⋅ing
   /ˈwɔrnɪŋ/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [wawr-ning]
–noun
1. the act or utterance of one who warns or the existence, appearance, sound, etc., of a thing that warns.
2. something that serves to warn, give notice, or caution: We fired a warning at the intruders.
3. Meteorology. an announcement from the U.S. National Weather Service alerting the public that a storm or other weather-related hazard is imminent and that immediate steps should be taken to protect lives and property.

Pay close attention to definition 2 ... and 3 as well, I suppose. At TrekBBS, we're all about protecting lives and property.

Ben, please let this be the end of this exchange.

In the S2 Lois remarked that it was comfortable in the FoS. Seems to me that it would logically have some-kind-of climate control system.

Anyway, good episode. Look forward to the next one in, what, a month or so?
Unless the "danger" Jor-El was concerned with was of Brainiac seeping out of Chloe's ear and infecting the Fortress's systems. Thus why Doomsday would bring her there; he wants his new body back.

This was a pretty good episode but Smallville usually delivers on its big episodes (it's the filler where it sometimes falters).

My biggest flaw with this episode was the flashback framing device. I've seen this work many times but here I thought it deflated the final chaos somewhat. It picked up but it took me a while to get back in when it goes from Doomsday to Lois directing the wedding.

Somehow it just seemed right for this series to have a wedding in the barn/loft. At first I was like "they're getting married in the barn?" but it quickly started to seem appropriate in this series anyway.

And like my compatriots here Cloverfield came immediately to mind.

I thought Lana had much too makeup in the beginning but she looked better in other scenes that toned that down. Kristin Kreuk is starting to show her age a little, I don't even mean that disparingly, just that she looked older to me. Alison Mack on the other hand was radiant, I was picturing the drool in this thread even as I was watching this on time-shift.

Doomsday actually looked pretty cool to me. I never read the Doomsday comics or that DTV movie so I don't have any preconceptions of what he should be like.

NX getting pre-empted for Smallville of all shows is just wrong!:)

Mid-January for the conclusion to this and Supernatural is just cruel! Got The Shield next week at least...

i keep forgettng that BrainIAC's form was the oil slick that killed Tasha Yar and not James Marsters....i forgotten he was a professor....so now he wants Chloe to be the vessell?

Was that supposed to be Steel in future eps?

Big black dude with a giant hammer, wearing pajamas and not armor

My biggest flaw with this episode was the flashback framing device. I've seen this work many times

It's just SO overused on so many shows these days, I'm sick of the entire device. Jump into BIG event quickly then go to black and super "Twelve hours earlier ..."

The jumpstart/flashback is so cliched now, that it's virtually lost all effectiveness and comes off more as a writing crutch, or just plain lazy writing because a particular writer is bad at creating interesting exposition.

Someone mentioned Lex and Lana merging ... that certainly could explain her bad wig, er, "hairdo" last night. ;)

dude, this is Smallville....what do you expect? chalked full of cliches and bad hair-do's

Actually, Smallville was one of the LAST shows to utilize the jumpstart.

While it's no new device, it was most recently popularized by the Trek franchise mid-90's.

My god.........!

What an episode. This show, like many others (prison break, heroes etc) just keeps getting better and better!

Even though im a big supes fan, I must admit the past few seasons of smallville were going downhill and not many eps had the magic...but I honestly think that with the 2 head guys leaving the show, it has made it much better! the new writers are awesome, anyone agree?

Doomsday was a beast, and Clark...well he doesnt look like he can stop him does he?

Brainiac will just never die, and as we know Clarks gonna need a lot of help next ep, and I cant believe we have to wait till Jan 15th for it, ragggeeeeeeeeeee!

Even the soppy stuff with Lois and Clark was very well done, but is it going to go the L&C series route and go a bit stale once they finally get together? More angst awaits I think!

Good ep, SUPER!

Unfortunately it still hasn't been uploaded to CW, but I have seen the ending. Interesting... but predicted.
