EDIT -
ABC/Bryan Fuller have CONFIRMED THE CANNING.

Since there are so many PD fans on here I thought this deserved its own thread and am sorry to say while ABC have not official said it, its true because The Futon Critic website got there hands on ABC midseason lineup and both PD & DSM were not on it and they were told both shows have been cancelled and will end after 13 episodes. Scrubs and Life on Mars will replace both shows, sorry PD fans :(

Here is the line-Up...

Wednesdays
8:00/7:00c - "Scrubs" (New Season)
8:30/7:30c - "Scrubs" (New Season)
9:00/8:00c - "Lost" (New Season)
10:00/9:00c - "Life on Mars" (New Time Slot)

It may say Again,
keep in mind the above schedule has yet to be confirmed.
but I've ckecked several sources and this is all but true.

According to Jim returning if there are any fans here and True Beauty replaces Boston Legal :wtf::wtf::wtf:

I wish that I could say I was surprised, but I'm really not. At least this opens up my Wednesday nights at 10:00 for Damages.

Boston Legal is a sad loss. It's too bad that it wasn't given a full season and another one or something. :( Maybe Denny Crane and Alan Shore will spin-off into their own new series? ;)

Pushing Daisies? It lost me. I think the stike hurt it and after the strike during the hiatus before it returned the troubles in the economy I think changed the "tone" of people. PD's level of whimsy just didn't fit for me anymore. It was inventive and fun show just too much whimsy and the truncated first season hurt it.

I haven't even really watched it since it came back although TiFaux still catches it for me.

DSM? About damn time.

Not a surprise at all about Pushing Daisies, but a damn shame nonetheless. It's a superb show. I actually don't mind too much if a show I like is short-lived as long as it ends on a note of suitable resolution. I hope we get that with PD.

whats going on with Lipstick Jungle, is that still ending this season? I assume its just going to run a few more episodes than My Own Worst Enemy is?

NBC has already cancelled both of them and just letting them run off episodes left.

^ Brooke Shields said on Today this afternoon that the show's producers have not been told by NBC that they're cancelled.

I liked Dirty Sexy Money, but gave up on Pushing Daisies. I saw about half of this season's premiere and that was it for me. I just didn't feel like devoting an hour a week to the show. I might tune back in if they give us an ending that shows us if Whatshisface can touch Chuck again.

Pushing Daisies canned? Frellwits.

The only tiny bit of silver lining in that news - if true - is it may mean Bryan Fuller can go back to Heroes. But I'd much rather have both. :(

I hope Fuller and company can give us some kind of resolution, even if it's an abrupt one. Journeyman kind of did it, so maybe we won't be left totally hanging.

Hey, maybe we can get another real police or law procedural instead and not the watered-down, character-driven procedural PD got shoehorned into--there aren't enough of those on the air!

I believe the producers were told around a month ago to treat their season finale as a possible series finale.

ABC really went out of their way to kill this show, no reruns during the strike, barely a whisper of a promo for it this year whille non stop promos for that idiotic Private Practice and funny enough, Dirty Sexy Money.

Nice job ABC..you do indeed suck.:techman:

Damn, PD is the most original show on network TV with the possible exception of Lost.

But Heroes is in desperate need of saving. Bryan Fuller might be just the guy. Someone who frakking well pays attention to character and plot logic for starters, the current bunch of producers are careening around like a pack of drunken clowns riding a firetruck around a three-ring circus and putting out fires by pumping gasoline on them.
