Yeah, Serenity may be beautiful in context, but there's a reason it's also known as "The Plucked Parrot".Refit Enterprise. I love a lot of Trek ships, but Millennium Falcon and Serenity are probably my next favorites.
Those two are cool, but surely not beautiful...
Serenity looks best when you see her in Malcoms eyes.As always, "beauty" is in the eye of the beholder.![]()
The Naboo royal yacht. All chrome flying wing, and sounds like a techno-B-29.

That's what I've been trying to do, but even then it's not easy. Different people use different criteria to identify inanimate - and even animate - objects as possessing beauty. But I get your point and think it's in line with the OPSerenity and the Millenium Falcon are surely tempting to list, but I did my best to separate "beautiful" from "sentimental love."
Here's where we disagree, because I've never DS9's "Defiant" to be particularly aesthetic. Reminds me more of a snub-nosed revolver.I think the Defiant makes for a lovely upgrade on the Falcon's overall look.
And here's where I agree with you wholeheartedly! And I'll add my voice to the love expressed for Moya's elegant form.
I had to go back and review some pictures from the series to remind myself of the ship's design... and that is definitely something I'd call "beautiful." Its beauty lies largely in the effervescent nature of the hull. Of course, that tended to remind me of the alien beings from "The Abyss".I liked the original Taelon Mothership - the transparent one from the first season.
