Newest Ipod?? Way too cool!

While it's a cool idea on paper, things are muddled a bit when you think about having wired ear phones connected to the thing. Swing your arm too far out and you'll rip 'em out of your ears. 
Now, bluetooth earbuds with the bracelet? Awesome.
Having said that, I'm not sure it's necessary. The iPod shuffle works just fine, attaches anywhere on your clothing, and has a far lower profile than a bracelet would ever have.

Might be a seller with people who are addicted to gadgets for the sake of them. But from a practical perspective I'm not sure this idea is really workable. Chiefly because iPods are notorious for breaking when you bump them around too much. And nothing gets bumped around more than a bracelet.

And it's about as "necessary" as any of the iPods have been.
I agree. I had, briefly, a virgin mp3 player which was about the circumference of a silver dollar. It was super light and had a higher storage capacity than the one I was replacing. You could hang it on ear buds like some odd futuristic necklace. The interface sucked. Unless we get to the point where voice recognition is flawless, these toys will have to be designed to held in the hand, and used by fat fingers.
The biigest problem with this is that the battery would be so small it would last hardly any time at all. I guess it could be charged by the movement of the wrist as some watches are but I would have thought that would not provide enough power.
If a small efficient battery could be made it could theorectically be charged by use of induction.
Songs could be put on via blutooth.
The screen could be oled. I would like a display on my shuffle because sometimes I think that sounds great, what was it.

Idea and design -- nice.
But it would allow so many idiot drivers an easier way of illegally plugging into their music instead of paying attention to the road.
