did anyone notice the young kirk when asked his name responds"james "siberious" kirk!


Em.. no - it doesn't sound like that on my computer, it doesn't sound like that on my ipod, it doesn't sound like that over my $10,000 stereo system.
 
funny. it must be the speakers on my work computer cause i just played it for everyone in our office and they all said it sounded like siberious! i cranked the volume up too!

Well, it's looking like we have another "And others" vs "Nanclus" on our hands (Kirk says, "Tiberious" and Valeris says, "Nanclus"!!!! :p ).

I was checking out the IMDB board for the movie, and there were a handful of posters who swear that he said "Siberius". I don't think he did, of course. Just saying that it's not just btflash here. The actor does kinda slur the syllables together, so maybe it could sound like Siberious.
 
We've seen James R. Kirk and we've seen James T. Kirk....

Maybe they decided to split the distance and go for a James S. Kirk in this one
