Now that it's legal...(pics)

Spock's time ship?

Good catch. Could be. I couldn't figure out what it was.

From the looks of it, there are two shots of it in the trailer, the one above, and then this one...

Nero is clearly someone's prisoner. Klingons?

Sharr
They definitely could be Klingons, what with the big build and apparent ridge down the forehead.

Whoever they are, it looks like they just kicked Nero's ass!
Actually, if go throught the trailer frame by frame starting at about 1:36(mainly because it's so tough to see at full speed), it's Nero who's being the big, mean badass to the Klingons.

Yeah, it looks as if he could be in the process of escaping...

I downloaded the 1080p HD version and tried to get some screencaps - but when I export an image from Quicktime Pro it saves it in PCT format - and Photoshop won't load it.

Any advice? I use Windows XP, BTW.

On Quicktime, go to Edit and copy, then go into Paint, paste, and then save. That should allow you to save it as JPEG or whatever else you might want.

Hit "print screen"...open in any image editor...save as whatever.

Now he tells me. I was doing it the stupid with with the Print Screen key.

Awkward.

If I did the copy paste thing, I wouldn't have the lines from the quicktime player at the top or bottom of the pics in the Caption Contest.

Spock's time ship?

my.php

I cannot remember where I read it, but one website was commenting on the production still that were being previewed prior to the screening of the four clips from the movie, and they mentioned how the Romulan ships had underwent a massive design change which description matches the ship depicted in that image. Give me a a bit and I'll see if I can dig up a quote.
