Since there's a nice long wait to go before the movie comes out, does anyone know if Paramount plans any viral marketing campaigns? It seems an obvious way to go, given the success of such things in the past, plus Star Trek already has a reputation for its fans "living in the story". There's also opportunities to tie it into real space exploration which would light up all us space nerds - they could do something in conjunction with NASA (which is always looking to up its PR profile) with the International Space Station, we just had a shuttle launch headed up there yesterday or the day before, right? Something with SETI, or the various discoveries going on about planetary discoveries.
