Got the Cloverfield 2-disc DVD today. Only £8.99 so I can't complain.
Although I'd forgotten how short it is, putting it in my player to test it I see its only 1 hour 10mins without credits. Bloody hell

^Psssst, they think of you as their dad. :p

I doubt it. ;)

The gap just keeps getting wider too. I can't believe that eighteen year-olds are now seven years my juniour.

When it gets somewhat above double figures, it starts to get really scary... the scariest part not being the figure as such, but that they actually LOOK and ACT really young compared to you. :(

The latter part I've already noticed. It's one of the reasons university was so disappointing to me. :(

I got all seven seasons of The West Wing on DVD today.

Two textbooks, Electronic Navigation Systems and Radar And Arpa Manual: Radar and Target Tracking for Professional Mariners, Yachtsmen and Users of Marine Radar, a workbook, a pad of RADAR plotting sheets, and 2 Transport Canada Examinations.

Painful AND expensive.

Online order of a CD:

Robert Plant & Jimmy Page's 1994 No Quarter (Unledded)

Thanks MurderRoshi for the advice. (So I'm not the only Frenchy around here after all. There's even a third one active.) I hope he won't be mad at me for outing him as French. Personally, I don't see the problem.

Today, I have purchased a thermonuclear device from Chechnyan Separatists.

Just kidding. I've always wanted to say that though. :o

Je parle un peux de Français, mais je suis Neerlandais!
(L'Hollande n'est pas de pays! :p)

I felt both lazy & in the mood for something exceptionally unhealthy after work so bought McDonalds for dinner - Large M Burger meal with a strawberry milkshake and apple pie. Feeling very fat & bloated now.

You know, I don't even regret it!

You know, sometimes when I drive down to Long Beach and am by myself, running errands, and generally enjoying myself I make sure to have similar at the In-N-Out down the street from my old apartment.

Hmmm... I might have to do that this weekend actually.

EDIT: Scratch my last post. Production paid for my lunch today. EPIC WIN!

I finally picked up the 3-disc Casino Royale DVD and then a delightful pannini caprese and organic black tea at the Urth next to my apartment last night. No complaints!

Upgraded to a larger TV package (need something for the long winter evenings in).
Mango and carrot juice, bananas, dried pineapple, prune juice (for the kids).
Fish and chips dinner (I hadn't had that for probably over ten years!).

I never thought I'd see Holdfast say he want to McDonalds!

Yesterday I had a little shop in Lush:

250g Snow Fairy
Magic Ballistic
Snowdrops Ballistic
100g Ultrabland (makeup remover)
Marilyn (deep conditioning treatment for my hair)
and I got a free The Witches Ball bubble bar! :D

Today I bought lunch.
