The Night Crew

You won't get any argument from me. Although I think you've added more fire to Hermy's argument against your heterosexuality.

There's a baseball metaphor about intentionally pitching balls that are easy to hit that immediately comes to mind. ;)

I downloaded Shortbus, but it was in Spanish! I had to guess what was going on (which wasn't too hard, but still), I haven't yet seen it properly!

Oh, you have to watch it! If you're going to see HSM with Rojo then we should watch Shortbus instead in Albany. :D

Really?! Does that mean we shared the same childhood experience of being introduced to Star Trek by watching episodes of TOS on saturdays at ten in the morning on CBC?
Awww. No. :p

Actually, it was my dad showing me Star Trek IV that got me into it. Time travel, space ships, and whales? I never had a chance.

Hah, but after watching those episodes of TOS, taping a broadcast of STIV off of CTV cemented my interest. From there, I started watching TNG. First episode? You guessed it! The Game. :D

I didn't say he was gay, I said he was a Hipster! Which might be the same thing given the women's clothes and all.

Nobody wants to guess who I played in the nativity ?

Oh, you're just going to adore these supertight H&M jeans I just got at the thrift store! ;)

I was Joseph of Aramathea. My entire role was to come in at the end and take Jesus off the cross.

How'd he get up there?

Same way I did. Through here:

I'm heading to bed. Goodnight boys and IHR! :)

Booo! You suck.

Goodnigt, TSQ and Shameless. I assume you'll both be dreaming about me? :D

I, on the other hand, was responsible for this.

Well, that's not very nice. Maybe you should think about what you've done and ask yourself if you'd like it if someone did that to you.

Good night! Don't let the hobo spiders bite!

I take care of Hobo spiders the same way I take care of Hobos in the trainyards.

Whiskey?

I really want to see The Phantom of the Opera. I've heard the soundtrack plenty of times, but I've never seen it live!
I have seen the movie, have the soundtrack (which I sing to in my car every chance I get) but I have yet to see it live. I wish I could. OMG it would make my year.

Rent has forever cemented my hatred for musicals.

Rent II: Condo Fever, on the other hand, is great.

I've seen a few musicals on stage due to my mother being the world's biggest musicals fan. Chess, Rocky Horror and Singin' in the Rain stand out in my mind. Amazingly she has never managed to get me to go see her favourite, The Glums (or Les Miserables as others call it) live.

I just dont like the summary storyline of Rent.

Its a cheesefest!

I just described something the other day as "one of those thing's that's so utterly manipulative and cheesy, yet so profoundly effective that it should be a litmus test for humanity" and RJDiogenes replied that I had just defined art.

Take that for what it's worth (including a story about how cool I am).

Not even a little bit.

Basically PBS on the level of CBS, NBC, and Fox, resp.

A couple of years ago, somebody was going around Montreal pasting pen and ink prints of Val Kilmer's face on everything. It was probably some of the best, because of the complete non-sequiter, graffiti I've ever seen.
Okay, weird coincidences. I've often commented that some of the best graffiti I've ever seen was painted in the middle of an otherwise perfectly clean wallm, smack in the center, brightly painted but in letters only an inch high, was writen:

Val Kilmer
Val Kilmer

:guffaw:

Brilliant!

I love whimsical or non-sequiter graffiti. And fucking legible too.

This is cool:

This is not (despite the achievement):

Okay, the SAKE thing is kind of cool, but I still hate that guy. He tags rocks. Motherfucking rocks!
I hate heights but that is cool in a omg that dude must have lost his mind kind of way.

I'm heading to bed. Goodnight boys and IHR! :)
Night sweetie.

They deserved it, being all innocent and all!

I should explain - Rent II: Condo Fever isn't a real movie, it's from The Simpsons.

The part of the evil landlord was played by someone who looks a lot like Homer but with a big cape and an evil twirly moustache. With lyrics like these...

Where is the rent?
I must have the rent!
Dollars, dimes and nickels,
I need them all right now!

...it's not surprising that it didn't last very long.

Ah, thats why I didnt recognize it. I dont much care for the Simpsons. I will watch it if I have to but, I wouldnt otherwise.

My friends and I would probably have had the nerve to go up to that section but they had removed the ladder and somebody had jury-rigged it back together with rope. We weren't going to mess with that. It was already dangerous enough in the parts that we'd gotten to anyway.

Yeah, yeah, I know. You should be glad I didn't say it and take the pleasure away from you. ;)

Okay, well that's true. :techman:
