The Night Crew

I agree whole heartedly. Tho regrettably I have not seen it live. I would love to.

Let the stormy clouds chase,
Everyone from the place,
Come on with the rain,
I've a smile on my face,
I walk down the lane,
With a happy refrain,
Just singin',
Singin' in the rain

I saw Tommy Steele (who I otherwise never did like) in the West End years ago, must have been when I was a kid in the 80's.
: pout:

I really want to see The Phantom of the Opera. I've heard the soundtrack plenty of times, but I've never seen it live!

Rent has forever cemented my hatred for musicals.

Rent II: Condo Fever, on the other hand, is great.

I've seen a few musicals on stage due to my mother being the world's biggest musicals fan. Chess, Rocky Horror and Singin' in the Rain stand out in my mind. Amazingly she has never managed to get me to go see her favourite, The Glums (or Les Miserables as others call it) live.

Oh yeah? Well I was in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar once. Now there's a damn good musical. Best Jesus story ever told, hands-down.

What? I'm serious.
You won't get any argument from me. Although I think you've added more fire to Hermy's argument against your heterosexuality.
Okay, yeah, that's true. Hedwig and Shortbus were both brilliant!
I downloaded Shortbus, but it was in Spanish! I had to guess what was going on (which wasn't too hard, but still), I haven't yet seen it properly!

I get CBC, CTV, and sometimes Global. You don't know what any of those mean though, do you?
You know what was great about growing up in Seattle? I got CBC too!

Really?! Does that mean we shared the same childhood experience of being introduced to Star Trek by watching episodes of TOS on saturdays at ten in the morning on CBC?
Awww. No. :p

Actually, it was my dad showing me Star Trek IV that got me into it. Time travel, space ships, and whales? I never had a chance.

I didn't say he was gay, I said he was a Hipster! Which might be the same thing given the women's clothes and all.

Nobody wants to guess who I played in the nativity ?

Its a cheesefest!

I just described something the other day as "one of those thing's that's so utterly manipulative and cheesy, yet so profoundly effective that it should be a litmus test for humanity" and RJDiogenes replied that I had just defined art.

Take that for what it's worth (including a story about how cool I am).

Not even a little bit.

Basically PBS on the level of CBS, NBC, and Fox, resp.

A couple of years ago, somebody was going around Montreal pasting pen and ink prints of Val Kilmer's face on everything. It was probably some of the best, because of the complete non-sequiter, graffiti I've ever seen.
Okay, weird coincidences. I've often commented that some of the best graffiti I've ever seen was painted in the middle of an otherwise perfectly clean wallm, smack in the center, brightly painted but in letters only an inch high, was writen:

Val Kilmer
Val Kilmer

:guffaw:

Brilliant!

I love whimsical or non-sequiter graffiti. And fucking legible too.

This is cool:

This is not (despite the achievement):

Okay, the SAKE thing is kind of cool, but I still hate that guy. He tags rocks. Motherfucking rocks!
