I just read where he has two broken ribs. Eveb though it hasn't been stated one way or the other, how can he be expected to play next week? With broken ribs, it's painful just to even breathe

They'd have to wrap the ribs up pretty tight, but he could play through the pain. The Eagles would be smart to rest Westbrook and let him heal, though. They have a bye the following week, so he'd have to weeks to get healthy. And I say that even though I have him on one of my fantasy teams.

Westbrook is a man-up type of player, so I won't be surprised if he does play this weekend. Would there be any type of effective painkiller he could take? A flak jacket of some kind seems an almost foregone conclusion for this kind of injury... except for a running back would that be too restrictive?

So, Pacman Jones just got in some trouble with a fight in a hotel. Can this guy be any more stupid? Gonna find himself WORKING at a hotel if he's not lucky here...

These types don't change their natures simply because they make ungodly amounts of money. Mounds of ready cash enable such behavior, and while it's flowing freely, the illusion of invincibility is quite pervasive. In addition, some people aren't happy until they're miserable. Perhaps Jones is one of these.

I can't believe the Redskins are losing to St. Louis right now. :scream: What happened to the team that surprised Dallas and Philadelphia?

The Rams beating the Redskins in Washington is more than surprising.

Stunning is closer. Shocking is good.

Especially since the Rams had more penalties (10) than first downs (8)!!!

But our defense was on fire today. Finally.

And even though Richie Incognito tried to give the game back, the Rams pulled it out. Someone needs to beat him with a stick or something.

Just watched the Cowboys-Cardinals first half. It's some of the most blatantly biased pro-Dallas officiating I've ever seen, and I've seen some pretty egregious stuff over the years. At least six calls that should have gone Arizona's way were instead handed to the 'Pokes.

What a surprise.

JM!!!

What the hell was that? An onside kick?

I'm telling you Arizona is a bizarre team.

I picked them again this week. They'd better not screw me up!

:scream:
