I think Nathan better have Tracy freeze him, but he could probably reassemble. Peter's gone mental. Of course that would explain why he thought he had to shoot Nathan in the first place if he was mentally affected.

Why did Peter need Sylar's ability?
Wow, did they just have Pete off Future!Nathan? I really am torn...on the one hand, every episode has been crazy action packed and full of plot twists- -unlike season 2. On the other, every episode has been nailing home the point that Sylar isn't a psychopath, but a victim. That feels like it doesn't jive...I always liked the idea of just "There's regular people with abilities. Yeah, one of them is an idealist. Yeah, and one of them is a cop. And yeah, one of them is probably a total lunatic. Powers have different effects on people."
