I think mohinder is turning into a giant cockroach, which has presented itself on multiple occasions.

And maybe Noah is the son of Gabriel and Elle. Also did u guys notice the Pinehurst sign that president patrelli was standing in front of, I wonder if that name will have any significance?

Once Mohinder puts on his Dr. Doom mask and cape, he'll be good to go.

Good thing David Anders name was in the credits, otherwise I might've been shocked that the episode was going to end on him.

All I kept thinking about was how horrible a President Nathan must be if every alternate timeline we have seen with him in power has the world on the brink of destruction. They should just make Nathan the big bad next season and get it over with.

To be fair, it was mostly Sylar impersonating Nathan in "Five Years Gone." I'm beginning to think they should get rid of Peter. Then the world would really be safe. He's an accident prone little power sponge.

Future Sylar's son was named Noah, however, so I'm guessing HRG is going to be dead by the end of this year.

Too early to tell that .... especially with a show like Heroes. You can't tell who will live week to week on the show.

That episode was the best so far this season. But looking forward to next week.

I think I missed this too. How can getting Sylar's ability to learn how things work save the world? Is it what he needs to figure out the right formula and/or how to counteract it?

Yes! :p

This show is in the crapper. Adam is back. Boring. Claire can't act. Boring. Future Peter. Boring. Dafne dies. Boring. Mohinder is a jerk. Maya needs to die. They're scraping the bottom of the creative barrel.

I wouldn't go that far, but there are problems. I'll repeat my mantra: trim the regular cast. Create story accordingly. Don't throw everything but the kitchen sink out there in hopes something will stick. Have a plan. Have some quality guest stars each arc. Mileage varies, but here's who stays and goes:

Stays:
Angela Petrelli
The Haitian
Nathan Petrelli
Tracy Strauss
Noah Bennett
Sylar
Elle
Peter Petrelli (yes, his character can be salvaged).
Matt Parkman

Ship off:
Clare --FOR GOOD
Hiro (possibly return later)
Ando (possibly return later)
Daphne--FOR GOOD
Mohinder--FOR GOOD
Maya--FOR GOOD
Linderman--FOR GOOD

The keepers above are plenty enough regular cast to write story for. At this point, I'd be willing to put Peter in the "ship off" column if his character isn't repaired.

I must be one of the only people who still likes Claire. I don't know how to feel about her story this year, but I think she could easily be salvaged.

I agree with everyone else on your list, except I would happy to get rid of Nathan. I was hoping he really died at the end of last season.

I don't know why everyone needs to have their own little plot instead of becoming the X-Men.

Micah uses his computer skills to get the gang into the bad guy base. Matt reads bad guy's mind to find the dangerous MacGuffin. Nikki uses her super strength to rip open the vault door and Mohinder goes in to do his scientist thing to stop the MacGuffin.

It's called teamwork!

^That's my biggest problem with the show. Season 1 showed every character's story converging in New York, and I figured that's where we would have picked up. It was stupid for everyone to just go back to their separate lives in Season 2.

1. Sylar's power is intended to let Peter understand the nuances of the timeline and fix it. You saw FuturePeter doing this earlier in the season. He was weaving all the strands together and trying to figure out how to fix everything. Sort of like Hiro in season one, but on no on crazed-out crack-fiend juice. Alternatively he can use it to read all the social networking going on and try to learn who it was that ordered Daphne to steal the formula and stop it from happening that way.

In other words, Sylar's power is "how to teach an idiot basic detective skills."

2. I'd prefer it if The Temporal Guardian (for lack of a better term; whatever it was that whisked Hiro back to the present when he was about to kiss Charlie) would, after getting tired of having to create and monitor all these new timelines, just bar travel more than a short jaunt into the future or past. Little leaps like that can be useful without completely rendering a story moot, and there's already a precedent set that stops all this bullshit from happening. They just need to reintroduce it is all.

^I just really don't like how the premise of every season is "stop this bad future from happening." Can't we just explore the present for a while without crazy future nonsense getting in the way?

Well, this show officially jumped the shark. The moment Sylar turned out to be a sweet nice guy, this show lost all interest to me.

Won't be watching this anymore.

When SuperVirgin 2.0 shot Emo Boy 2.0, I wondered why he didn't jump back up, and why Emo Boy 1.0 didn't use one of his many powers to stop her. When the Haitian (isn't it getting bizarre he still has no name?) shows up, I thought that Emo Boy 2.0 would surely revive when the Haitian wandered off screen. Or would have if I wasn't too busy wondering how a ninny like Emo Boy 1.0 could manage to survive without the use of his powers.

Then I gave it up and put a Dexter Season 2 DVD back on. I think I'm done with this show.

My second straight AVERAGE vote.

At this point I'm more interested in Sylar than Peter.
Sylar was always a better character than Peter.

Ditto

Not convinced Sylar is a good nice and sweet guy. I think he is playing along for his own gain.

I'm on the verge of dropping this show myself. Its a pale imitation of what was fun the first season.

LIFE after it was much better.
