Oh I think so. Jones isn't out there tearing up gameplans.
Al is supremely easy to understand. He wants to win -- right now. As long as his head coaches complete this task, they get a pretty free hand in running the team. If they don't, they are subject to termination without regard to whether they got a fair chance.Somedays, I just don't know if it's even possible to understand Al Davis.
If the Colts pull this one out, I would not want to be Sage Rosenfels tomorrow. It isn't entirely his fault, but that's what it's going to look like to folks. Two great defensive efforts by Indy, and bang-bang .... they're about to go ahead
Detroit's defense is horrid, which is why I picked up Kyle Orton in fantasy this week. Their secondary can make just about any QB look great.Even if it is over the Detroit Lions, and they're awful, but, still, I'll take 334 yards from Kyle Orton.
Not to question your analysis, but I thought that Roethlisberger had a heckuva game overall. The Jags were getting some excellent pressure on him, breaking down the OL protection. Yet Big Ben's size and perhaps even sheer heart allowed him to make the play when it was needed most.

Oh, I completely agree, but Big Ben had loads of help from his receivers being open all the time. It was one of the best damn pass-rush jobs I've ever seen from the Jaguars, but it did nothing without a secondary to shut down his options.
I'm not trying to diminish Ben (who is a great QB), but the Jaguars' secondary has been our major issue in every single game this year. It's absurd.
Hmm, works the other way for me. With Westbrook's injuries it's not looking good for the rest of the Eagles season. Go Phillies? But at least the Bears are helping me forget about the Cubs.![]()
