Director's cut

Considering all the past episodes, and movies, is there one that you wished had a 'director's' cut that had missing scenes or scene that might make it a better episode movie or episode? And what would that missing material be???

I'd like to see what we didn't get with TWOK on dvd ... specifically, the version that has the 'saavik is half-rom' scene plus the original ending, where Spock is just plain dead.

As I said in another thread, I'd like to see the extended cut of Elaynas of Troy. The unaired, bare bottom spanking, of Elaynas. And it could be filmed from maybe six or seven different angles too!!!

I also wanna see Shatner's ending for Trek V where they encountered Satan/Hell at the end. That woulda been amazing and made Trek V be the very best Trek movie ever rather than one of the worst.

I wanna see the original ending to Waltz where Dukat's character remained sympathetic (aka he was not fubared into a one-dimensional caricature).

I also wanna see the footage that was cut of Weyoun taunting Worf more before Worf killed him.

Alas, no budget for the Lava-Men. I never heard about the Satan/Hell ending, don't remember it in Shat's movie autobiography. I wonder if it was a musical number. Kirk, Spock and McCoy are facing the Great Satan himself, and Kirk begins to...sing...

He doesn't sing..he does spoken word songs..he could get BEN FOLD or whoever to produce and write the spoken word song...

I'd loved to have seen the planned (but scrapped early) scene of all those expensive alien ambassadors designed for TMP. Fred Phillips told me Gene Roddenberry had envisaged a banquet, and the ambassadors being told about the encroaching cosmic cloud, and how the Enterprise was being despatched early.

Beautiful, elaborate and expensive costumes and makeups were wasted in the San Francisco scene because they're so tiny, more like scattering ants before a rainstorm.

I would like:
TWOK with the cut material restored into the film.

BUT ALSO - have the theatrical version... the inbetween thing Nick Meyer did for the Special Edition was cool, but since some of the lines I rememebr most are different takes, it messes me up when I watch it =)

I'd still like it if about 30 minutes was cut from TMP =)

Generations would get a little better (for me) if they put Spock after the credits roll at the grave site ala-The Ashes Of Eden, except maybe the whole 'someone steals the body thing'. Nimoy's still around... he could do it!

STTMP was the one movie! Just seeing ONE scene with the exterior of V-Ger was worth the wait.
