As much I liked seeing Deanna Russo in her underwear, how we got there was pathetic.

Network: We NEED to get Deanna nekiid - or pretty close to it - ASAP.

Writer #1: Urm.....

Network: Think goddamn it, THINK!

Writer #1: How about a missile hitting the car, and the car is on fire-

Writer #2: And they can't get out-

Writer #1: And they can't stop the car-

Writer #2: Or drive it into a swimming pool, or the ocean-

Writer:#1: And its getting really hot inside the car-

Writer:#2: So our HOT female star has to get her kit off!

Writer:#1: She has no choice. Its either get em off, or she gets dead!

Network: Do you know how fooking stupid that sounds........put it in Act 1.

Not that it mattered; that guy was the McGuffin, and the whole point of this episode was for the female FBI agent to "kill" Mike at the Metro station so that he's forced to change his identity and go around calling himself Michael Knight.

They should have seized the opportunity to cast a new actor as Mike Traceur. You know, changing his face so he won't be recognizable by his "old friends".

Also it's too bad so many people are aware of Mike's true identity.

Yeah, I made that point a few pages ago.

Back to the show. It's bad. Not Really bad, but my inner 16 year old felt insulted. And the one thing that people seemed to like here, the Billy and Zoe scenes, made me ill. Neither could act, they had zero onscreen chemistry, and every time Zoe opened up her mouth, I wanted to shove my size 11 Doc Martins down her throat. And no, her alluring beauty would not prevent me from doing it. Saying stupid things in an attempt to sound clever is one of two things that are a turn off for me. The other is that a hot woman can't dance. In short, to paraphrase Rod and Todd Flanders, "Billy and Zoe make Baby Jesus cry,".

The acting, writing, and direction make the most recent Bionic Woman look like GENIUS.

I didn't say there wasn't any problem with eye candy, I said that sexual innuendo is droll and makes for crass writing. If the characters are supposed to have advanced degrees and such, sexual innuendo is pretty much something they wouldn't be doing.

It's just a TV Show, Johnny. Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Also, a bad Knight Rider episode still beats the pants off any reality show.

Silly me. I'd like some Quality in my show rather than Kwality. With Kwality in a show, it gets CANCELED. That defeats the purpose of having the show in the first place.

Gotta agree. Even if it was Justin stripping on a weekly basis, I wouldn't care. An interesting plot will make me overlook other annoying things. This didn't have a strong story and therefore, all the other stupid things that happened were more apparent.

I can think of dozens of quality shows that got canceled in a season or less, too.

I'm been watching the dvd pilot of the 1982 Knight rider over and over again. Mostly for nostalgia(the giant floppy disks lol) The women back then had a porn star look

Suffice to say the 1982 version is shakespeare compared to the 2008 version. I get a kick out of seeing Michael introduced to KITT.

Also KITT isn't a main star that must be glorified to the point of excess like the 2008 version. It's a machine and steps back when needed.

For example at the end there's no back talk or interaction between Micheal and devon as it's being sent for repairs. It's simply a tool.

It's the people that made the show with 20% of the car being the focus.

I guess what I mean is in 2008 we know KITT is an icon and the production crew treat it as a star.

The original's pilot movie is awesome, great, stuff. Esp. in the introduction of KITT and the friendhip/partnership building between KITT and Michael.

No, it doesn't. As I've said before, the show went from one mad, a loan rider defending us from evil and shadow corporations to a guy fighting to save Mary Sue Single Mom from the gang of evil bikers of ex-husabands.

Glenn Larson aside, it's obvious that Billy is the Final Cylon of the Final Five using reverse engineered Cylon technology to build KITT.
