Yesterday I bought a membership at a spa/health club. The theory here is I will work out more often if I'm paying a monthly fee. Of course, the ammenities like reduced spa services and a steam room should get me in there too. :)

A ton of pellets (fifty 40lb bags) :D

$314 - my guess it that this will cover our whole winter heating.

Picking them up tonight and have to get them in the shed before 3 days of rain starts : /

< edit > And here they are -- we are ready for winter :)

I finally got my Lupin the Third movie collections, I ordered those in June! So now I have ten movies to see :D Well nine I've already seen one of them.

I bought a huge sandwich at Subway.

You ever been so hungry, that you ate so fast and don't remember eating? I was watching Law & Order, holding this sandwich, and then NOM NOM NOM about .005 seconds later, the sandwich was gone and my stomach was full, with no memory of the intervening time.

Didn't have anything to do at work so went to Homebase and bought a few things for the house instead - bits and bobs mainly, though the main reason for going was to get a planting tray to stand some herb pots on.

I was with a friend shopping for a few things to cook dinner for us the other day and she insisted I stop buying fresh-cut herbs rather than growing them myself. So she bought me a basil plant and said she was going to check on its survival regularly. :D

I figure I better at least try to keep it watered regularly, hence the tray to stop water splashing all over the windowsill. I even went and got thyme and flat leaf parsley pots to add to my little herb garden too... they look quite pretty on the sill, but I hope they survive - I'm not hugely green-fingered! :)

A set of jumper cables (since it took me all morning to find someone with a set), some slacks for volleyball matches, some Chuck Norris joke posters, and a frisbee golf set.
