But, I've a feeling I won't be presiding over this series' threads for long.
The premiere was Ok. I liked it and will likely keep tuned in. Hell, I've nothing else to watch at 7 on Wednesdays, so why not?
But the show has a "quality" that just makes it feel off. It could be the overuse of CGI, the absurd truck mode/KITT's shape-shifting, taking itself too seriously, the climatic smash-cuts to commericals or a combination of any or all of that.
I liked it, though. But mostly because of getting what's her face naked and having her in a revealind dress. What can I say? I'm easily impressed.
"KITT" felt improved over the pilot movie, too and had better interaction with Michael.
Had I included a poll I would've voted "Average" on an Excellent, Good, Average, Bad, Terrible format.
It does however have a cool car, some decent action, a good cast, hot ladies and some pretty tech. Above all, it's Knight Rider. I don't know how long this thing will last, but I'll be sticking around. I just hope that they can inject a little more into the show than Michael driving around against unconvincing blue screen scenery. Speaking of Michael, it's nice to have the old name "Michael Knight" back. Never liked how they spelled his other name "Traceur" instead of "Tracer".
