The Night Crew

I make my own fashion. And I look damn good doing it.

I just ignore it completely. "Statement" finish 501's and a black or grey polo shirt in the summer, or a long sleeve collared shirt in the winter.

I don't have a lot of choice in that, however, since the fashion industry in this country gives up on you once you get past 6'2".

I was never a tucked in kind of guy even before my waist expanded.

That is something I am trying to change. Hopefully in 12 months I can be down a few sizes.

Currently most of my jeans and pants are XL or XXL. Most are medium priced syuff.

I'm not really all that big but it definitely disturbs me when I see people on here referring to Greg Grunberg as "fat". He's bigger than me, but still!

Stores that sell trousers without telling you the leg lengths wind me up too, especially when they refer to a 34" leg as "Extra Long".

try being tall and medium build in my town.

pants are all either small waist and long leg, small waist short leg, big waist and short leg or big waist and long leg. it's like everyone's either tall and fat, tall and thin or short and fat or short and thin. there's no tall and medium. :scream::scream::scream:

and it doesn't help that there's exactly ONE shop to buy men's clothes in... :klingon::klingon::klingon:

^I have to buy most of my clothes on the Internet. As a result, I just gave up on fashion and just buy identical outfits that I can just re-order as necessary.

This will probably horrify tsq but I try to look as boring as possible.

i don't like to do that with clothes in case they don't fit...

Just got in@ I met a nerd! How often in New York does one meet some one who even knows what Doctor Who is???? My friend and I were wanderging -- no plans at all -- havering, you know. Shoud we go into the city for a dance? Should we just go home? But then there is a ice looking little restaraunt, hidden away where we've never seen one before. Who should be the bartender? My upstairs neighbor, that's who! Who should be sitting next to us? A pair of monumental geeks who liked my hat and the conversation went from star trek to doctor who to physics to the peoples history of the united states to Terk math as opposed or used in conjunction with everyday math. Ohm my` ANd I got free wine!]]\

Tomorrow where going to get tgether to watch spaced and make collages!

That sounds horribly geeky and awesome.

Also, I just started watching "Spaced" for the first time a couple days ago, and it's one of the funniest damn shows I've ever seen.

I just got home from a night of bartending, and now I am going to go out and be bar...tended?

That may or may not be a word.

The difference is: I can't drink at work.

A florist could probably make herself a floral arrangement if she wanted to.
