So if a guy had sex with a female hologram who was 'special', self-aware and all that, would it count? And one step further? As The Doctor pointed out in an early episode of Voyager, the fact that he was a physical object capable of touching other people made him practically the same as everyone else. If a hologram has substance, then how is the act of having sex with one any different to doing it with a flesh and blood person? (Can't believe I'm discussing this).
A vibrator has substance, but having a relationship with one won't entitle you to a marriage licence.

Sex with holograms would probably be more mainstream during the late-24th century then sex dolls are today. Some people at that time considered that sex with a hologram while you were married was against their marriage vows. Tuvok for instance felt that way when Tom suggested to use the holodeck to ease his Pon farr. Tom also seemed to agree with that view. Others might not mind or care about that due to a lack of any significant emotional connection between a person and hologram (though Voy also showed us that one can have sort of relationship with an ordinary hologram when Janeway get tied up with a simple hologram). My guess would be sex with a normal hologram wouldn't "count". You could have sex with a hundred holograms but until you have it with a real person whose mood, feelings, wants and needs that you don't fully control that people would still view you as a "virgin". Though with the rise of more complex holograms like the Doctor these restrictions would be loosened.
...Possibly so realistic that it would not markedly differ from a living person. At least not from a living person who is somewhat disabled, retarded or otherwise immature. Would sex with such people "not count"? Alternately, one might well construct a holographic sex doll that in fact feels more than an average healthy person, is more intelligent, cares more about intimacy, shows more compassion. Why use some sort of 95-percentile human as the yardstick when the Trek universe offers much wider variety? Vic in a way was real, it depends on how you look at what is living or not the same argument applies to data if one was to have sex with him, would you then be having sex with a very expensive and complicated sex doll lol. But i think Data is considered a living being and not a bot so therefore you could argue the same with Vic. So i say that you would loose your virginity to a hologram like Vic.

Really, just as there might be people in the future who don't "count" it if you break your hymen in intercourse with a hologram, there are plenty of people today who don't "count" certain means of achieving this, yet other people who do. And there tend to be several degrees and kinds of virginity, too. One might have experienced holosex but would be considered a meat virgin, or might have had sex with a fellow humanoid but would be considered a holovirgin; which of those would carry the greater stigma of inexperience (if it were stigma rather than an exalted virtue, a matter of debate today, yesterday, and no doubt also tomorrow)? In the 24th century, can you really claim that you have lost your virginity unless you have done it anally with six Deltans and a Klingon in zero gee at warp nine, while dressed in a Starfleet uniform and pretending to be a Vulcan with a limp? My understanding of holodecks was that they combined holograms, forced perspectives, forcefields, tractor technology and replication as needed for a realistic experience. Considering that, the question "where does the juice go?" is simple to answer... it's recycled by the replicator function and ends up as Sisko's raktajino or something.

I agree with this. I think the genetic material left behind would just be converted into other molecules and used in the replicators. It would be simple waste. Other waste will be left behind, things like dead skin cells and hair, common to any place humans go. Just hit the refresh button!
I think having holograms as sex toys will be the ultimate downfall for mankind because men will be occupied with holograms when they should be making love/babies with real women.
