So I've been wondering, not much has been established about Aquiel canonically speaking. There is nothing saying her race isn't long-lived, and therefore she could have been alive in the 23rd century. And since Abrams and his cohorts are saying they'd like to provide various links to the other Trek series, this could be a perfect link to TNG. Have a scene where Kirk and Spock enter an alien night club in search of Nero. While they're looking around, they pass by Aquiel. You know what would make this scene even better? Have Aquiel wearing a beret. The potential is awe-inspiringly awesome.

We could see her dog again!

Wait, I can't recall. Was that an earth dog or did they slap some prosthetics on it?

Did you just copy that from this thread: http://www.trekbbs.com/showthread.php?t=65863 and change the name?

very astute my good sir/madam :D

Have Aquiel wearing a barrett.

A majel barrett, purchased from Lincoln Enterprises?

that works too. or a high powered gun.

was supposed to be an alien dog i think. alas it is dead. the biomimetic entity took it's place.

Allow me to preempt the next two threads:

So I've been wondering, not much has been established about Ishka canonically speaking. While they're looking around, they pass by Ishka. You know what would make this scene even better? Have Ishka wearing nothing. The potential is awe-inspiringly awesome.

And

So I've been wondering, not much has been established about Portos canonically speaking. There is nothing saying her race isn't long-lived, and therefore she could have been alive in the 23rd century. And since Abrams and his cohorts are saying they'd like to provide various links to the other Trek series, this could be a perfect link to TNG. So I've been wondering, not much has been established about Rumpelstiltskin canonically speaking. There is nothing saying his race isn't long-lived, and therefore he could have been alive in the 23rd century. And since Abrams and his cohorts are saying they'd like to provide various links to the other Trek series, this could be a perfect link to DS9. Have a scene where Kirk and Spock enter an alien night club in search of Nero. While they're looking around, they pass by Rumpelstiltskin. You know what would make this scene even better? Have Ishka wearing a sombrero. The potential is awe-inspiringly awesome.

How will you know it's Ishka if they recast? Cecily Adams is dead, and the previous Ishka, Andrea Martin, refuses to go back under the makeup. ;)

I'm missing the point. Discuss whut?

^And Jesus. In fact, screw the Trek characters, the final battle should be Hitler and Jesus going at it.

We decided a while ago in here that we were not going to have a thread asking if every minor character in Star Trek history should be in the film. They just get too spammy. There are a few spam threads in here though, so we're not being killjoys. Feel free to play in those.
