Are you guys serious? The TrekBBS got sombrero-ified and I missed it?

P.S. Half way through typing this post, I decided to check out QSF and found out that it was indeed something that did happen and that yes, I did miss it...

Although I appreciate Antony's kind gesture, I also see the downside of it. The whiners have yet another chance to whine. And they do so in both of the QSF threads. But Gep, ITL and Antony did a great job standing up for it. I still don't get some people who take this thing way too seriously ...

^I figure the gesture was the important thing. By sticking the sombreros on all the forum icons, the meme did kinda flow outside it's original boundaries by quite a bit. That they were there at all was a minor miracle, really. Now, if Anthony had gotten on the stick and added those back when the fad was [highlight]HOT[/highlight] (and SHOUTING! ), they might have been able to stick around for a while. But all things considered, I think we did good.
