ST: The Experience Closing Soon...who has never been?

Have never had the oppurtunity to even go to the States as I can't afford it but it's sorta been a life ambition to get there by the time I turn 30, which will be in two and a half years time. If the Experience can keep it's door open up till then, then I hope to give it a go otherwise far from a substantial win on the Lottery I'll probably have to miss out.

It was special. I'm glad I got to see it, but I hoped to revisit it someday. It was just so awesome walking the halls of the Enterprise, being on the bridge, sitting on the Captain's chair.

Sigh.

...while The Experience's "museum exhibits" will ... eventually to be permanently place in either the SF Museum in Seattle

While my wife tried her damnest to "seed" that idea when we where down there, I very seriously doubt it will happen... The rides are mostly built-in, and most of the stuff that is owned by STTE is sold. Paramount has already said they wanted their stuff back (probably for 'Its a wrap' E-bay sales). Another era gone. (you never get used to eras going, but you do get a bit numbed after awhile)
