Quick question

STIntergalactic

Captain
Captain
Sorry to trouble you all, but I had no luck finding what I needed on Memory Alpha.

Was there and episode of ENT where they reused the prop used as Uhura's earpice in some manner that wasn't an earpiece? And if so, what episode was it?

Thank you.

Oooh, maybe someone can answer THIS question: I remember seeing an episode where a crew member in engineering slid down the rails of the ladder (instead of using the steps) from the top level to the bottom. I know I read a quote somewhere where one of the castmembers said he didn't recommend doing that because it hurt. But I can't think of the episode where I saw it. Anyone remember this?

Reed and Archer have both slid down ladders. Archer was the one that did it in engineering, and there's an oft-told story about Keating/Montgomery being in the sound booth dubbing lines for that scene.

Can't remember the ep offhand--I need to quit letting so much time go between ENT viewings

The first time this is done is in the second episode "Flight or Fight" when Archer casually just "appears" in the torpedo bay by sliding down and says "How you doin'?" I love this moment a lot, I love the casualness of it.

The only other time when both Archer and Reed had done it was because both were in a big hurry in "Anamoly" while chasing those pirates.

I remember Reed trying to escape one of the wisps in "The Crossing" by sliding down the ladder and running out into the corridor

aww thanks!

I watched both Flight or Fight and Anomaly last night, and the one I was thinking of was in Anomaly (the F or F one was neat, too). So thank you SO MUCH for solving that little mystery for me - it had been bugging me for quite some time.

Ah you're welcome!

I like both of the moments, particularly F or F because it shows how casual the captain can be with the crew. Of course Bakula rocks when he is angry so to see it in Anamoly was just cool. Plus Anamoly is just a kick ass Also notice how the two eps are strangely complimentary to each other. In both they board an alien ship and investigate, and in the later they do it with a lot more assertiveness.
