Favorite Captain's Chair

Inspired by the decision to sell a replica of Captain Kirk's Command chair I was wondering: who's Command chair is your favorite and (if it was available) would you buy a replica of it?

Gah, tough choices! I was tempted between Kirks and Picards. Kirks for obvious reasons but Picards looks a lot more comfy (and if I'm gonna be buying the command chair I'm gonna be lounging in it so...).

Can't I have both? If not I'll have to go with Picards chair.

The Enterprise-D had two different captain's chairs -- the first design was featured in season one, and the second design was featured in all the other episodes as well as Generations.

The Kirk-era films also featured different captain's chairs.

[/IMG]I love the bridge setup from TWOK and TSFS, especially the captains chair! I love the one from TMP(also make an appearance in TWOK as Reliant's chairs, and in TNG as Stargazer's seating), but i'll stick with the white beauties!

I voted for (a) Kirk's TOS chair, (b) his movie chair, and (c) no, I would not buy one! I do have another chair I like even more, though -- Kirk's chair from Mirror, Mirror, also seen in The Ultimate Computer as Commodore Wesley's command chair. Maybe IKEA sold it to him! -- RR

Bitchin! I wonder if they sold any during the 40 years of trek auction? I would sell just about everything I own to have possession of one of those chairs! I wish there was a way to find out if paramount still has one.
