Bill Theiss should be canonized!

Great stuff. There were so many fantastic and sexy ones (men and women). I think my personal favorite was the 'Cloud-minder' girl, wearing the powder blue dress.

Nice post, Neroon.

But he has been canonized. His creations are on screen. That's canon. :p

I know I would get down on my knees and pray to Droxine.

Thoroughly enjoyed that video; thanks a bunch! One of the many beautiful aspects of Star Trek. My BP shot up ten points when Khan stepped through the door in that tunic.

To me, Droxine looks alarmingly thin, as if an arm or something might snap like a twig at any moment. I want to give her a nice gift certificate to Burger King.

Indeed, too skinny.

My two favorite Theiss creations were worn by Sherri Jackson and Leslie Parrish.

The man really knew how to show off the female form without being too risque. He did it with taste and style. :techman::techman:

The name is William Ware Theiss. Next time you create a video loop of his work, be plain. I see no earthly reason why we need pictures or the rock creature from The Savage Curtain or the dwarf Alexander. I once had one of these compilation videos before deleting and as eclectic as it was, at least it did not show males or creatures.

Rock creatures, no, but he DID design costumes for the show, including those for men, so a video showing his work shouldn't be just about babes in will-she-fall-out-of-it costumes.

Ahh, I see. So Star Trek, whose viewership was almost entirely male, tuned in to see Kirk's chest creased with blood or his back whipped to shreds? I beg to differ. Scroll up to see Plasus' daughter again. If you didn't turn out the lights and close the shades while viewing that, I question your sexuality. From now on, please, slap a warning on your compilation videos "Male chests and legs" sort of like "Crunchy Frog."

Ah, thank you Outpost for putting it into words. I was at a loss.

I suppose that is a reference to me in some way. I have not experienced it until this time when I clicked onto the link at the beginning. I might expect there perhaps to be a homely woman like T'Pau, or an unattractive woman like Odonna or Deena, but to be shown half-naked males, dwarves and rock costumes seems like the ultimate insult to intelligence. I can go back and look (though "fool me twice, to quote Scott) but I can assume that each of these horrifying inclusions popped in immediately after Elaan, or Droxine or Andrea. it is called video, it is supposed to be fun. You have the reaction you wished. Now consider this. Someone ties you into a chair, performs oral sex on men as you have no choice but to watch, and you can never leave the one room, and you are (almoit) never Alone. Now Elaan drops by and smiles and says "I am sorry, I must leave. Alexander will play for you.: Have you pictured that? What century do you place it in? What place? Where is that scene? What would you do for that child? I have an idea, discover his psychjological profile. What joy in that." I cannot quote because i do not remember, but there was a line "Pardon them, pardon me, i had no idea."

Theiss did more than design slinky costumes for women. So why shouldn't his designs for male actors be included in a tribute? Did the inclusion of men take you out of the "moment"?
