Incidentally, there was a sorta Trek online game a few years ago that also had Q but the name of it escapes me.
I believe you're thinking of Star Trek: ConQuest Online.
Incidentally, there was a sorta Trek online game a few years ago that also had Q but the name of it escapes me.
There's also Star Trek: Klingon and Star Trek: Borg (features Q) and both of these were turned into novels..
ST:Borg was novelized? I had no idea.

Nope. "ST: Klingon" got a novelization and an audio. "ST: Borg" got an audio only. "ST Academy" got a novelization only. "ST Klingon Academy" got nuffin'.

I have to say at least w/ this new company taking over, they kept the same elements from the previous company. I am thinking of playing it myself once its finally online for sure. Love the designs of all the starships. It's an interesting evolution of the pass starships we have seen on screen and etc.
^ Conquest.
There have been hundreds of Trek Games. I recommend:
1.) Bridge Commander
2.) Armada
3.) Elite Force 1&2 (The Expansion Pack to the first allows you to explore the Voyager and adds Jeri Ryan to the game)
4.) Starfleet Command
5.) Away Team
(Looks like I was beat to the Conquest thing).

I'm a huge fan of both of the Elite Foce games myself. The first one is Voyager, and the second one takes the same group of main characters and moves them onto a post Nemisis Enterprise-E. The first game has the most of the Voyager main cast (Jeri Ryan doesn't do Seven) and the second has Patrick Stewart, Tim Russ, and Dwight Schultz, along with a bunch of recurring Trek guest stars like Martha Hacket, JG Hertzler, and Jeffrey Combs all playing new characters.
The only Trek game I was any good at was that really old one where you were in a rectangular galaxy with rectangular sectors and had to navigate and aim weapons by typing in the coordinates. That was one of the first computer games every invented, and it had many variations over the years.
Unfourtantly, Trek games aren't as popular as Star Wars games which is a shame because there are many possabilites for a Trek game and the last few console games, Shattererd Universe and Legacy weren't exactly bestsellers but given the right developers, it can be the blockbuster game it has the potential to be. (Not counting STO).
